Sneering, the evil scientist escorted Emmett, Hope, Rouge, Shadow and Ivo into a nearby ice cave before stepping back and firing some kind of laser gun at the ceiling overhead which immediately created stalactites of ice to form and flow down then freeze solid into bars, imprisoning the helpless humans and mutants within. ROUGE: You won't get away with this! SHADOW: The Rangers will save us! EGGMAN: I doubt that very much, Shadow. HOPE: That's what you think, neighborhood bully! EGGMAN: Now, now... manners. HOPE: Oooooooh! Confused by this mistreatment of their new friends both Blaze and MewTwo try intervening, protesting against this abusive behavior displayed by their masters. BLAZE: I promised those humans they would not be harmed, mistreated like that. This is wrong. BORF: Then you overstepped your authority. BLAZE: I what?!! Hmmmph... Crying out in surprise the Freedom Fighters went plunging down to land heavily onto another ice-floor below, ending up in another tunnel passageway. WHITE RANGER: There are hundreds of passageways in here so it's a chance we might end up walking in circles, get lost ourselves. Suddenly a cry for help echoed down the shaft directly ahead of us! ECHOING VOICE: Please help, get us out of here!!! BLUE RANGER: Yegads, that's Hope Kintobor, I recognize her cry for help! GREEN RANGER: It's coming that way. YELLOW RANGER: Let's roll! Then as one we draw our laser pistols and rifles and blast away, laser bullets impacting the ice bars that shattered into shards, flying every which way as Rouge and Shadow shielded Hope's body with their own, Ivo and Emmett shielding their own heads, turned away at the same time before they glanced up to see the Rangers still standing there. HOPE: Thanks for rescuing us. PINK RANGER: You're welcome. PURPLE RANGER: Aye, that's what we do. YELLOW RANGER: Say, where are those two ETs who brought you here, he? IVO: They left, said their creator needed their assistance for now. YELLOW RANGER: Oh... EMMETT: But they did not harm us, nor would they allow Borf or Eggman to abuse us either.
