Sonic the Hedgehog and the Space Ace Transformers - Episode VII by Space Ace Part 9 We continue listening in on Belladonna and Drakken's plan on using the deadly potions in another one of the Empire's schemes of ruling the universe forever. SHADOW: Did you hear that? They want to poison the water reservoir outside the city. HOPE: Oh, no. Who knows what deadly effects it will have on all Mobian citizens. KIMBERLY: One effect is that all the king's subjects will become helpless slave zombies forever under Borf's mind control. ACE: That has nothing to do with me, I guarantee it. SALLY: I wouldn't be too sure about that, sire. After all, you are the new king of Mobotropolis. ACE: Gulp! SALLY: But, I as new queen of the kingdom will see to it that Borf's scheme fails as always, yes! Even Sonic, Tails, Miles, Alicia seem to agree with her highness. But that was when Kimmy reminded them of the crisis at hand. KIMBERLY: Let's take this antidote back to headquarters so the entire gang can foil the nWo's plan. SHADOW: That might take too long. We may have to act immediately! ACE: Remember our dying friends, team. They need this medicine to save their lives. SALLY: Aye, we have to hurry back and save them. SONIC: Good thinking, boss. Let's get out of here. TAILS: I'm with you, let's go. We move stealthily along the sides of the cave walls back towards the secret stone door. Drakken and Belladonna are still plotting their deed, completely oblivious to our presence for the moment. All of a sudden a cry of pain came from Hope Kintobor who accidentally bumped against a piece of sharp rock protruding from the wall. HOPE: Ouch! ALICIA: What, who cried out? SHADOW: Hope?! HOPE: My back, my shoulder, ow! SHADOW: Let me check it out. SONIC: Nuts, someone had to get hurt at the worst possible moment. As both hedgehogs attend to the young woman's injuries-wounds with Kimberly assisting in calming Hope down, keep her from crying that is...suddenly Drakken's voice booms through the caverns as the mad scientist thought he heard something. DRAKKEN: Who's there, what was that?! ACE: Down! MILES: Aye, sire. TAILS: Me too. SALLY: Uuuuuuuuuuuh... Once again one of the mutated rats scuttles past the Freedom Fighter leader as she struggled to keep from screaming in terror, eyes wide in fright as she clung to me, body shaking in horror also, my own face a look of horror frozen on it as well as the rodent hissed menacingly at us, tail lashing back and forth, ears flat, teeth bared. Then it spun about when it heard Drakken's voice again and rushed off in another direction. Alicia was about to use her whip on the rat, it was coiled and poised to lash out like a striking cobra but she did not have to use her weapon anyway, a sigh of relief escaped her body, she wiped sweat away from her eyes, out of her hair as did Tails, Miles, Sally, myself, Hope, Shadow, Sonic and Kimberly who all breathed sighs of relief ourselves. The rat ran into full view of the witch and professor. DRAKKEN: Where did that thing come from, he? BELLADONNA: I thought I smelled a rat in here, ha-ha-ha! She struck out with lightning bolts from her paw hands to blast the rodent as it sprang for her throat, mouth open and teeth bared, claws extended. The impact of the bolts hitting its body made the creature shriek in pain as it transformed into stone and clunked to the cave floor like a petrified statue, frozen in mid-leap posture. BELLADONNA: Bulls eye, ah-ha! DRAKKEN: Perfect shot, witch...yes! BELLADONNA: Yes, I never miss, hm-hmm-hmmm... DRAKKEN: Now shall we proceed with our work before big brother arrives? Drakken nodded and they went back to work, laughing like school yard friends. Meanwhile the Alliance gang ran out of the cave, Sonic again using the magic word to open the secret door and we made our way down the cliff side, across the polluted stream and morphing back to vehicle forms raced back to HQ with the antidote cure safely in our possession, all of us hoping against hope that we would make it back before all was lost. But the moment we returned and stepped into the home base...something was terribly wrong! EMMETT: Son, Junior! Your friends are in a coma state. ACE: No! HEATHER: Quickly, where's that cure you found? SALLY: Here it is. Oh, no...oh, no. KIMBERLY: Good grief, they're all motionless! Lying sprawled on bio-beds in sickbay were Amy, Antoine, Bunnie, Rouge, Cody, Chris, James, Jesse, Ash, Kim, Ron, Goku, Naruto being tended by Ivo Kintobor and Buns as Doc Brown and Heather rushed over to administer the antidote cure to the near death Power Rangers. Dr Kintobor injected the medicine into each body of human and mutant warrior while Ace and friends looked on with scared looks on their faces. BUNS: Are you sure it will save their lives? IVO: There's only one way to find out. SONIC: Come on, come on you fellow heroes...fight back. TAILS: Yes, don't let the poison claim your lives. HOPE: We are all strong, as one fighting force against the opposition. SHADOW: Aye, let the light shine! Sally and myself kneeled in the midst of our helpless friends and prayed for a miracle to happen. Alicia and Miles also kneeled and prayed with us, the four of us holding hands with closed eyes in a circle. We were joined by Kimberly, Hope, Shadow, Tails and Sonic in our ritual...while Emmett, Heather, Ivo, Tower, Buns watched helplessly. ABRAHAM: Look, they're stirring...they're coming around. IVO: Yes, their eyes are fluttering, starting to open. BUNS: It's working, it's working! EMMETT: Yes...who-ho! HEATHER: They're all awake now, the antidote cured them. Sally, myself, Kimmy, Sonic, Tails, Alicia, Miles, Hope and Shadow looked up when we heard the cheers of our friends in time to see the other Power Rangers waking up, sitting up and groaning, blinking their eyes and shaking their heads and looking around the sickbay in confusion. ACE: We did it, we saved all their lives. SALLY: I can't believe it, we saved the Power Ranger Alliance. SONIC & TAILS: Yeehaaw! HOPE: They're alive, they're alive! SHADOW: Thank goodness... MILES: Well, we did it, queen. ALICIA: Yeah, we did it... They both slapped high fives but that was noticed by me and others who whooped it up then we all shouted the Dukes of Hazzard yell together and with my parents and fellow leaders we all gave a high five maneuver at the same time.
