And while the search began on the new location of the space bridge, in the meanwhile the nWo were already at the site as Drakken and company loaded ENERGON containers into the rocket sled vehicle for its journey into the gateway portal. Borf's twin brother still grumbling about not being in command of everything at the moment. DRAKKEN: My talents are wasted on this project, I should be in command right now of the family. SLEUTH: Gateway ready and standing by, professor. DRAGO: Wait a minute, don't we need a pilot to drive the sled to planet Doom? DRAKKEN: Oh, we do indeed. All three climbed aboard the sled the canopy closed over their heads, they strapped themselves into the seats. DRAKKEN: Have a nice journey, warriors. Tai, Tigress and She-Lion returned the gestures as the sled shot down the track and into the dome, the door closed afterwards and the skies darkened, thunder rumbled, lightning flashed across the sky and clouds slowly rotated in the form of super cells but no twister funnel snaked down from high above but instead a large black void appeared in its place, the beam of laser light penetrated its center and the sled rose up into the beam to disappear from view. Then the storm effects vanished all together while the gang awaited the progress report. Seconds later Tai, Tigress and She-Lion made contact. TAI: We have arrived at the New World Order fortress on planet Doom with no trouble. BORF: Excellent, is the cargo secure and intact? TIGRESS: Affirmative, the cargo is still intact. It was at that precise moment that several vehicles rolled into plain sight in the form of Goku, Naruto, Cody Jones and Chris Thorndyke with Hope Kintobor and Ivo Kintobor as passengers for the special trip back to the Earth to retrieve the medical kit from the headquarters base in Station Square. Then to the shock and surprise of the heroes the evil scientist gestured for Goku, Naruto, Chris and Cody to proceed on their way into the space bridge gateway, the friends did so still not understanding why the opposition did not try to stop them in the first place. Soon they teleported themselves across the galaxies of space in vehicle forms and soon after that arrived outside the main entrance to Power Ranger Headquarters within the metropolis of Station Square itself. Cody using his password to gain access into the base itself. CODY: Okay, to the sick bay emergency room, this way. The supplies we need are stored in the cabinets, lockers, etc. IVO: Hope we know what to look for. SHADOW: We'll know it when we see it, I guess. HOPE: Aye, then get it back to Ace before all is lost on our world. CODY: Not to worry, Madame. Everything is under control. CHRIS: 10-4, good buddy. The two martial arts masters proceeded on their way back to the main entrance while Cody, Chris, Hope and Ivo entered the sick bay emergency room and began searching for the medical supplies necessary to take with them back to Mobius and begin reviving the life of their fallen leader. Meanwhile on planet Doom, Borf was summoning his robot machine forces of the Cylon Centurions, the Terminator Series 800s Infantry Units, the Hunter Killer air attack crafts, etc. BORF: The enemy has arrived at their home base on their world. Destroy them with acid rain, kill them all! Then the machines zoomed away, the HKs that is, en route to carry out their leader's orders in terminating the enemy forces for good. Inside the headquarters the friends gathered what things they could transport back to Mobius and met Goku and Naruto at the front doors where they proceeded outside and were just about to teleport themselves when suddenly... IVO: Good grief, what are those things headed this way? CHRIS: Uh-oh, Hunter-Killers! Borf's flying robot aircraft from planet Doom. HOPE: Eeeeeeek, they're opening fire on us! CODY: Get down! SHADOW: Oh, no! We're under attack! The HKs swooped in, laser guns blasting away at the Power Rangers who attempted to defend themselves while shielding Hope, Ivo and Shadow at the same time. Goku summoned the Dragon Spirit genie within the Dragon Ball spheres. GOKU: Dragon Spirit, I summon thy presence...assist us. DRAGON SPIRIT: What is thy wish, master... GOKU: Protect the lives of our friends from being harmed by the enemy. DRAGON SPIRIT: It shall be done, master Goku... Just then the HKs came in for another attack but instead of shooting at the enemy they launched missile warheads into nearby clouds in the sky above that detonated, exploded and then started pouring down rain but not just ordinary rainwater...acid rain to be exact that stung on impact like angry bees. NARUTO: Acid rain! If it hits our rings, they'll be damaged beyond repair. IVO: We're doomed. DRAGON SPIRIT: No, I will protect your lives from being harmed, my friends...master Goku wishes me to keep you safe. Roaring in anger the dragon genie conjured a glowing shield of magic that surrounded the terran earthlings and mobian overlanders together in its protective shell. Unfortunately the stinging side-effects of the rain began to take its toll as Chris, Cody, Naruto and Goku began to slump to hands & knees, shaking and trembling in pain, sweat running down their faces and hair. CHRIS: We, failed...we failed... NARUTO: It's over, feeling weak...tired, must sleep... HOPE: No! No, don't die! SHADOW: You can't give up. Space Ace, our world. The universe depends on you heroes! Once again the genie lizard released magic breath from its being to flow into the morphing device until it shimmered-glowed powerfully and the kung fu master rose to his knees then straightened up onto his soft soled shoes again, face a look of anger & determination on it. GOKU: Thank you, Dragon Spirit. I can take it from here, you may go now. DRAGON SPIRIT: As you wish, master... I shall await the next time you summon me. HOPE: Way to go, Goku San! Now your ring can restore your health back to normal again. NARUTO: And while it works, I'll take care of our rainmakers. SHADOW: Allow me to assist you, ninja master. Working together the ninja master and hedgehog warrior used their powers together to scare off, chase away the Hunter Killers until they disappeared from view and were gone from sight. At that same moment the skies cleared as the acid downpour ceased as well. One by one the friends climbed back to their feet again. CHRIS: Whoa, felt like being stung by angry bees defending their hive. CODY: I never did like acid rain anyway. At least it's still functional. IVO: Let's stop talking and save Space Ace.
