With that the two sides closed to do battle, laser bolts flashing back and forth as Clone Troopers, SwatBots, Power Rangers, Freedom Fighters and the three nWo warriors traded shots with each other, falling down then getting back up again, dodging aside blasts and returning fire. All of a sudden the combined assault of Sonic, Tails, Amy, Sally, Ace, Team Rocket, Goku and Naruto proved too much for the opposition and Drakken, Shego and Belladonna went down from a hail of laser bolts stunning their bodies. Snively and SwatBots attempted escape out of the metropolis but were captured by the Clone Troopers, Elias himself having the honor of capturing Snively, forcing his surrender via sword point that is. Your plan of destroying the city failed as always. BORF: Blast it, Space Ace. You win, for now...but there will be another time to defeat you. ACE: I'll be waiting, old buddy. SALLY: New World Order, I order complete surrender of your evil gang immediately. Half of your horde is already captured by the king and his Grand Army and awaiting trial via the council, the same fate befalls you, Commander Borf. BORF: You cannot win, lady. The war continues. EGGMAN: I hate it when things like this happen. ACE: If I were you, Borf...I'd better do as my boss says, surrender or it's going to get real violent in the end. Borf glared me down until realizing the situation was hopeless and agreed to surrender for now, ordering the entire gang to lay down their arms. As for Fiona, the vixen in black managed to slip away unnoticed by everyone present and escaped, snarling angrily under her breath as she threatened. FIONA: Ace, I swear I will make you pay for this humiliation, this insult to my leader...and my family, grrrrrmph! Revenge will be mine, yes! Then she disappeared from sight. In the meanwhile the Alliance forces of terran and mutant warriors returned to New Megalopolis with the defeated Empire warriors under gunpoint until reaching the king's palace where there, Borf and gang stood trial for crimes against mutant life on Mobius as King Elias, Queen Rosemary and council members presided over the alien commander's fate and that of his family. In the end, the king sentenced Borf and his nWo horde to imprisonment for life but as the guards were leading them away, Borf made a final death threat. BORF: This isn't over, I swear I will return to challenge you all again, foolish mortals! You have not seen the last of me and the New World Order...I'LL BE BAAAAAAACK! By the time he was gone, the king addressed me and my fellow warriors for a job well done. ELIAS: Congratulations on yet another successful mission, not only saving the city and the lives of my people but allowing me to help you fight off the invasion forces of the nWo. ACE: Of course, sire. It was fun having you prove yourself a true hero for the first time, fighting side by side with us. ELIAS: Um-hm, yes. It was fun.
