    In minutes the Rangers see that all the Mobian citizens and anything that's not anchored down
are floating too.

SONIC: What's going on here?
TAILS: Why is everyone floating around?

    I suspect an anti-gravity beam is being used on the area around town.

ACE: Borf and his gang had been experimenting with such a weapon back on planet Doom.  But it was
unreliable.
AMY: How is that?
ACE: The beam sometimes disrupted the gravitational pull of the alien commander's home world so
badly that everything flew off into space.
BUNNIE: Good grief.
ROTOR: Doesn't sound too good to me.
KIMBERLY: I did not think they would dare to use it again anywhere.
ANTOINE: Did he, Borf, I mean, dare use such a weapon on your world?
KIMBERLY: No, not yet I think.

    Freedom Fighters and Chaotix warriors continue to stare nervously at the frightening scene
before Acorn answers.

SALLY: Well, we're going to break up Borf's deadly experiment right now! <leers>
SONIC: Aye! <also leers>

    But I hesitate and look at the town.  He is worried about the people.  They don't seem to be in
any danger, but floating around scares them.

KIM POSSIBLE: I suppose Mobians don't take well to weightlessness.  After all, I suppose they are
saying "I like to have my two feet on the ground."
ASH: So, do we help them or not?

    I decided to head straight for the New World Order base and get right to the heart of the
trouble.

ACE: Power Rangers, transform.

    One by one we morphed back to terran human forms and gather together to make plans to attack
the nWo base.  A short time later we are on the way with our allies.

RON STOPPABLE: We have to make sure Borf does not use his anti-gravity laser gun.
KNUCKLES: Like, rescue the citizens before they get scared or something gets worse.
JULIE-SU: Hope we're in time. <worried look>

    Even though the anti-gravity beam is aimed at the town and surrounding area, the Rangers are so
heavy that the only effect it has on the terran earthlings is to make them bounce high with each
step.

CODY: This is fun!
CHRIS: It's like I'm floating in zero gravity.
BUNNIE: Who-ho! <excited> Me too!
AMY: Whee! <also excited>

    Antoine bounced so high he collided into Nicole who was skimming low over the convoy.

NICOLE: Be careful, I'm not that sensitive.
ANTOINE: Sorry, my lady. <apologizes>
VECTOR: Can we get our feet back on terra firma again?
JAMES: Me too, I'm getting sick of floating around.
JESSE: So am I...<scared look>

    As soon as we clear the town gravity returns to normal and so do the Rangers, Chaotix and
Freedom Fighters.  After all, the gravity of the situation does not escape them.
