Sonic the Hedgehog Meets the Space Ace Transformers by Space Ace Finale We could only watch helplessly and in anger as the enemy made their getaway again, this time fleeing the planet itself to reach outer space! NICOLE: Wait, I can help him catch that bully, ahem...let me fly you after them, sir. ACE: Good idea, bodyguard. KIM: This is totally crazy, you'll never stop them before they reach space. SONIC: That's what I just told him, Possible. ACE: As the Terminator would say, "I'll be back" Let's hit the road, Nicole. NICOLE: Yes sir! The holographic bodyguard to Sally grabbed me around the waist but before she took to the sky however... SALLY: Wait! For luck. ACE: I'll need it, boss. Then Nicole zoomed into the sky carrying the super agent in her strong arms in pursuit of the escaping Battle Cruiser still climbing on its way to break free of the gravity field as Borf was gloating over his success for now. BORF: It's done, we've seen the last of the Power Ranger Autobots and Space Ace. DRAKKEN: Not yet, brother. Ace is right behind us. BORF: Holy s***?!! Impossible. Open the weapons hatch. BELLADONNA: Weapons coming online now! Laser gun turrets swivel into position to track Nicole and Ace until locking onto target. NICOLE: Uh-oh! ACE: Oops, not good! BORF: Fire! Laser bolts shot out to impact into the holographic illusion who screamed in pain before toppling backwards, out of control towards the ground with me falling after her, legs and arms flailing wildly, face a look of horror on it. DRAKKEN: You got him! BORF: Ninjara, increase throttle. We are going home. NINJARA: Yes sir! While back on the ground the others looked on in horror at seeing their friends falling to their doom. TAILS: Oh, no! Nicole and Ace, they're falling! AMY: They're going to crash! KIMBERLY: Dexter! The others froze in horror, too stunned to cry out anyway. Nicole and I hit the ground, bounced and rolled before coming to rest on our faces as the Anti-Freedom Fighters hurried over first to check on us, Buns in her Omega Care Unit bio-suit gently helping me to my boots again. BUNS: Don't worry, sir...we'll take care of you. ACE: Oh wow...I've been hit. BUNS: Duh? ALICIA: Sir, you all right? Are you hurt? ACE: I, I don't know...feels like been ejected from a crashing car or truck without wearing a seat belt. MILES: Whoa, at least you didn't suffer any broken bones. BOOMER: He must be one tough terran to be destroyed. Patch, Rosy nodded in agreement just as the remaining forces of Power Rangers and Freedom Fighters caught up to us. SALLY: Ace! Kimmy went to work examining me for injuries but found none that were too fatal. Nicole, a program herself, did her own examination of her functions and determined nothing was damaged or destroyed before fading away again. TAILS: But where did they go to, huh? We all looked around but there was no sign of James or Jesse, or for that matter...no sign of Knuckles either! AMY: Knuckles is gone too! ALICIA: Oh... okay. While back onboard the nWo ship now into planetary orbit before making the jump to light speed... BORF: At last, total victory is within my grasp. DRAKKEN: Not yours, brother...mine! BORF: I see you've learned nothing, Drakken. DRAKKEN: Wrong, I've planned a great deal. I won't miss this time. BORF: Beware, Drakken. All of a sudden a flash of light materialized onto the bridge then vanished to be replaced by the familiar forms of Jesse and James ready for action and with them, a glaring frown on his face was Knuckles. JESSE: Get ready for trouble. JAMES: Make it double. JESSE: To save the world from devastation. JAMES: To unite all people within all nations. JESSE: To denounce all evil with truth and love. Then the two former bullies open up with their pulse laser guns, shooting away to distract the enemy while the guardian called upon the power of the Master Emerald to assist him in destroying the Empire and his body glowed with magic before he unleashed his vengeance into the computer console stations, they burst into flames and smoke, alarms began ringing. DRAKKEN: NOOOOOO! He opened fire, stunning Knuckles who dropped unconscious to the floor, Team Rocket getting nailed by shots fired by Tigress and Ninjara's laser guns and they collapsed to the floor, stunned. Borf at the same time dropped his sibling when his back was turned and shouted down at everyone, his face a mask of anger. BORF: Death to all traitors to the Empire! BELLADONNA: Battle Cruiser losing power! Fires began raging out of control as the nWo hurried about trying to put them out. Borf suddenly realized his plans of conquering the galaxy was about to go up in flames and smoke so to speak and started to panic. BORF: Do something, witch. Regain control! BELLADONNA: I can't, sir! We're being pulled back down into Mobius's atmosphere again, prepare for crash landing. SHE-LION: Yaaaaaaaagh! TAI: I'm too young to die! NINJARA: NOOOOOOOO! TIGRESS: Aaaaaaaaugh! BORF: Do something! Knuckles, James and Jesse struggle back to their feet against the G-Forces hitting them and make it to the emergency hatch, force it open then look back to leer at the opposition. KNUCKLES: Have a nice crash landing, butt-heads! JESSE: Yeah, losers! JAMES: Don't forget to write! BORF: Stop them! TEAM ROCKET: It looks like we're blasting off again! KNUCKLES: Yahoo! Back down on the ground the Rangers and allies looked on as the flaming ship hurtled towards certain destruction. ACE: They're going to crash. SONIC: Oh, no! KIMBERLY: Everybody, get down! SALLY: Yes ma’am! One by one the mutant and human friends dropped flat, face down and covered up as the starship shot overhead, trailing flames and smoke in its wake before splashing into the waters of a nearby sea or ocean, disappearing from view. We all cheered in victory. ACE: It's over, at last. The New World Order is finished, we can finally go home now. RON: I wonder what went wrong on their vessel? CODY: Maybe a mechanical failure. CHRIS: No, I don't think so...look! We all stared in shocked amazement as Team Rocket and Knuckles came floating down with the aid of James and Jesse's morphing rings to levitate them gently onto terra firma again. KIM: Team Rocket, you did it! KIMBERLY: You stopped the nWo from getting away! TEAM ROCKET: Hey, Lucy...I'm home! KNUCKLES: I'm baaaaack! SONIC: Way to go, Knux! KNUCKLES: Hmmph, as always. SALLY: Congratulations, Knuckles, Team Rocket. You destroyed the New World Order Empire. All three blushed slightly as we laughed at their looks before they laughed too in relief. Afterwards we went back to the Council of Acorn in the city to report to the king the enemy was destroyed. ELIAS: Congratulations, Space Ace, on your victory in stopping your rival adversary Commander Borf from attacking our world. ROSEMARY: Yes, thank you very much. We owe you all our gratitude. ACE: Thank you, sire, majesty. HAMLIN: Yes, you did well. It seems I underestimated you and your friends at first but from what I've seen and heard, you terran earth-people are always heroes in my eyes. SALLY: I don't believe it! He really likes them, now? ACE: But now, I fear the time has come for us to return home to our world again, now that our quest is fulfilled in protecting this planet. CHUCK: So you're going home? ROTOR: Will we see you again? ACE: We will come back one day to visit Mobius again, perhaps say... enjoy some well deserved R&R, he? The council members grinned and giggled at that comment, nodding in return. Elias promised to see us on our way along with the other members of the council and moments later were assembled with Sally and Freedom Fighters (the Anti-Freedom Fighters returned back to their own world again) to watch our flight departure so to speak. Ron, Kim, Kimberly, Chris, Cody, Jesse and James already said their farewells to the Mobian citizens and boarded the X-2 deep space shuttle while I remained outside to say goodbye to my allies. SONIC: Have a safe flight home, Ace. We will not forget you. TAILS: But we'll miss you so much. AMY: Me too. ACE: Not to worry, we will return one day soon like I promised. Both Amy and Tails nodded, still shedding tears but I hugged them both while they cried on my shoulders in grief and sadness before turning back to the other members of Sally's gang. ANTOINE: Legend will tell the tale of how strangers from another world dropped in unexpectedly. BUNNIE: And how a group of rebel warriors joined up with these newcomers with magic powers. I returned the salute, blushing slightly in the cheeks as they laughed at me, but as I turned to enter my vessel it was Sally who stopped me, reaching out to take my hands in hers, forcing me to turn back to face her as she had tears in her eyes. SALLY: Ace, I don't know if and when I'll see you again, but...please, please do not forget me... and, one more thing. ACE: What's that? SALLY: I...I love you. I deeply, truly love you...with all my heart. Before I could say anything, she pulled me into her arms and kissed me right there in front of the surprised council members and Freedom Fighters who gasped in stunned disbelief but recovered to clap for us both. After we kissed for a long time before parting, I turned away and without looking back climbed aboard the X-2 shuttle, the hatch closed behind me and the thrusters activated, then followed by the booster rocket igniting to propel my ship upwards into the skies of Mobius on its journey to reach deep space beyond and the voyage back home to Earth again. Elias, Rosemary, Chuck, Dylan, Rotor, Penelope, Hamlin, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Antoine, Bunnie, Knuckles and Sally waved farewell as they watched the ship vanish into the horizon, becoming a tiny glowing speck before it was gone. Then, one by one retired back to the city of New Mobotropolis. All except Sally Acorn who continued staring into the sky, tears running down her cheeks as she silently spoke.
