Sonic the Hedgehog Meets the Space Ace Transformers by Space Ace Part 16 In New Mobotropolis the citizens were going about their business as usual without worrying about coming under attack from the New World Order forces of Borf and Eggman Robotnik. But I was not too sure that my rival adversary was going to surrender just yet, give up too easily in a matter of speaking. That was why I and the former princess were discussing about how to trick the enemy into surrendering on our terms, so to speak... SALLY: I just thought of something, Ace. How about creating a hologram illusion to fool the opposition? ACE: What good would that do? SALLY: Well, Nicole has found out the nWo are looking for fuel reserves to power their starship to take them back home. NICOLE: Affirmative, I found this out when spying on the New World Order and learned they are constructing a new ship but have not yet located fuel reserves... I was surprised to learn of this but said nothing at first; instead I let Sally and Nicole outline the plan for me. NICOLE: Therefore, I can cast a 3D illusion of a military base, an Overlander base that is, and we can hide among the structures and wait for the nWo to come and steal the fuel stores, then we ambush them. SALLY: What do you think, he? ACE: Awesome, girls! You came up with that idea before I did...good grief. That made them laugh back at me when I imitated Charlie Brown's famous phrase, but I knew they were teasing me anyway. I set about explaining the plan to the rest of the Power Rangers and they liked it also when I informed them of Sally and Nicole's idea. KIMBERLY: So we can catch the opposition with their hands in the cookie jar. TAILS: He, are they stealing cookies? KIMBERLY: No, Tails. That's not what I mean. TAILS: Oh, ah-ha-ha! AMY: Funny, funny... CODY: So who's going to deliver the message to the nWo? ANTOINE: Who will do it, monsieur? SONIC: I'll do it, no problemo. Deliver and get back before they knew I was there. KNUCKLES: I think I'll tag along, just in case. CHRIS: And we wait here at HQ for you to get back. BUNNIE: 10-4, good buddy. ACE: Then be on your way, Knuckles and Sonic. SALLY: Make sure Borf or Eggman do not detect your presence. TEAM ROCKET: See you when you get home! The two nodded back, grinned evilly and sped off in the direction of nWo headquarters inside Eggman's fortress where the alien pirate and doctor were still trying to figure out what happened when the mine collapsed around them, nearly burying them alive. Sonic and Knuckles hid just outside the main entrance leading into the fortress. KNUCKLES: How about I drop the telegram while you watch my back. SONIC: Check, guardian. KNUCKLES: He-he...10-4, good buddy. SONIC: I wonder what that means? But the Master Emerald guardian made his way towards the headquarters building to drop off the telegram then hurried back to where the hedgehog waited for him. SONIC: That was quick, no one saw you. KNUCKLES: No way, too easy. Maybe Eggman doesn't know we're even here. SONIC: Duh?! Oh, never mind. Back to Freedom HQ. With that they rushed off. Even as they left the scene however...Snively happened to step outside upon hearing an alarm for intruders outside the boss's stronghold but saw no one around. SNIVELY: Odd, hmm...no intruders about, but what could've set off the alarm sensors? He, what's this? He picked up a parchment sheet with information written on it, looked at it briefly and his eyes lit up with interest. SNIVELY: Whoa! I must show this to Borf, he'll be excited to hear this news. Immediately he ran back into the fortress where Borf and Eggman were enjoying a coffee break, so to speak, and burst into the command center, waving the parchment sheet in the air. SNIVELY: Uncle, Commander! I have something you should see. EGGMAN: Huh? What is that you have there? SNIVELY: I found this when I went to investigate the false alarm of intruders outside HQ. BORF: Let me see that. The alien pirate read the telegram and an evil sneer lit up his face as he revealed what the message said to Eggman and Snively. BORF: It says there's a secret supply of rocket fuel located in an Overlander base not far from here. EGGMAN: Cool, he-he! Just what you need, I presume. BORF: This is the last resource we need for our starship's engines to return home to planet Doom and begin conquering the universe. EGGMAN: Ah-ha! Let the darkness grow for the Empire. DRAKKEN: Right on schedule, aren't we? BORF: No thanks to you, brother. DRAKKEN: I made my contributions to the cause. BORF: You also made it clear your desire to replace me as leader of the New World Order. Mistake number one. The twin sibling to Borf started to burn up on the inside, face contorted in anger as he fought to speak. DRAKKEN: It's time for a change, Borf. Time for action, not words. I am the leader of the future. BORF: Don't make me laugh. How can you pretend to lead the Empire?! SNIVELY: Uh-oh, fireworks are going to explode. Borf turned his back on the scientist and started to walk away when Drakken snapped without warning as he leveled his laser rifle at his brother's backside, about to pull the trigger when Eggman shouted a warning. EGGMAN: Behind you, Commander! Borf spun about as Drakken fired his laser gun and parried the bolts away with the aid of his morphing ring casting a glowing shield to protect his body from being stung in the process as Drakken screamed in anger. DRAKKEN: NOOOOOOOO! EGGMAN: Whew, what a close shave the man said to the barber. BORF: You failed to assassinate me when you had the chance, bro. Mistake number two, now it's my turn. SNIVELY: Eeeeeeee! Don't point that at me! EGGMAN: Oh, no! I don't want to get shrunk also?! DRAKKEN: No, please don't shoot! Too late as Borf released a deadly beam of laser from the laser gun to strike down his 2nd in Command; but instead of shrinking him into baby size it only stunned, paralyzed him that he crumpled to the ground unconscious. Glaring down at his brother for being stupid at trying to take him out so quickly...Borf spoke to Eggman and Snively who still looked scared at first. BORF: We attack the rocket base at sunrise. EGGMAN: But of course, Commander. SNIVELY: By your command, sir. DRAKKEN: I'll get you for that, dear brother...you just wait! I'll let you have it for zapping me with the Infanto Ray, oh-yes!
