Sonic the Hedgehog Meets the Space Ace Transformers by Space Ace Part 12 As the battle raged between good and bad forces inside the power plant, one showdown took place between Fiona and Chris Thorndyke, aka the Yellow Power Ranger, once again as the lady fox wanted to settle a grudge with the teenaged boy except that she did not recognize at first the mysterious costumed helmeted figure facing her off. FIONA: Okay, buddy. Let's get it on, rumble-style. YELLOW RANGER: Fine with me, lady. Except this time you don't know who I am. FIONA: What?! YELLOW RANGER: Hard-core style! FIONA: NO! KILL... They closed to do battle, exchanging kicks and punches, blocks and ducks now and then to avoid blows thrown at each other. Back and forth they fought fiercely in their rumble match. Not far away was another showdown taking place between Ninjara and Cody Jones, aka the Green Power Ranger in disguise as both traded move for move against each other. NINJARA: Whoever you are, you're no match for me. GREEN RANGER: That remains to be seen, lady. NINJARA: Ah-ha! Take that, and that! GREEN RANGER: Whoa, missed me, ha-ha! Now you take this! He struck back with blows of his own, forcing the ninja master on the defensive as Ninjara repelled his strikes against her body. They continued brawling with each other. The Freedom Fighters of Antoine, Bunnie, Rotor, Sonic, Amy, and Sally fought bravely and honorably in trying to stop the New World Order from escaping their wrath, occasionally knocking down the SwatBots like tenpins in bowling. High atop a catwalk balcony above the workplace floor the alien pirate was making his getaway through an emergency hatch near the ceiling when the White Power Ranger, aka Space Ace in disguise, tried stopping him. Borf struck out with a back fist punch that knocked his rival over the railing but the Power Ranger grabbed onto a support strut of the box-beam below the walkway's floor section and held on, glaring up at Borf. BORF: Any last words? WHITE RANGER: None you would want to hear from me, Borf. BORF: Nothing can stop me now, NOT EVEN YOU! WHITE RANGER: Don't count on it, don't hold your breath, big bully. Back on the main floor below...Dr Drakken the twin brother was getting ready to take down his enemy, alias Amy Rose, as he lined up his sights on the female hedgehog who glared him down, daring him to shoot her as she readied her piko hammer. DRAKKEN: Here comes one super spitball special headed your way, lady. AMY: Go ahead, but make sure you don't miss the first time, he? DRAKKEN: Screw you, wench! BUNNIE: Stop! DRAKKEN: Huh?! Even as he fired the bolts at Rose who swatted them away like Babe Ruth hitting a home run out of the ball park, Bunnie Rabbot let go with a shot of her own so to speak, transforming her forearm-wrist-hand encased in robotic steel into a laser Gatling gun that spit out a barrage of laser bolts into the mad scientist, who cried out in pain before crashing to the floor, briefly stunned. BUNNIE: Oh, yeah! I like the way they fall. AMY: Aye, ha-ha! When one falls, they all fall like a house of cards. BUNNIE: You got that right, dudette. However this did not go un-noticed by Borf who heard and saw his brother get tagged and shouted at the two mutants, face in anger. BORF: You dare hurt my brother?! You'll regret that, wenches. SALLY: Wrong! Guess again, butt-head... hi-yah! BORF: What?! Acorn came flying out of nowhere, a booted foot connecting solidly into the alien commander's face, reeling him backwards a step or two as he fought to regain his balance as the former princess touched down onto the balcony to face him off, glowering angrily and ready to fight just seconds as the White Ranger vaulted back onto the catwalk behind her. WHITE RANGER: Excuse me, I have the situation under control here. SALLY: Sorry, this is my fight too, he? Together we can take him out. BORF: Ha, that I would like to see you try, losers. SALLY: Hey, look! BORF: What, where? WHITE RANGER: Bonzai! Gasping, Acorn ducked to avoid being clobbered in the back of the head as the Power Ranger leader cannon-balled into Borf to send him staggering through the hatchway door onto a causeway atop the dam where he regained his balance again just as both combatants faced him down. WHITE RANGER: You destroy everything you touch, Borf. BORF: Because everything I touch is food for my hunger, for power. SALLY: NO! We're going to end it once and for all. BORF: Go ahead, make your move...foolish girl. SALLY: Ooooooooh! Yah! WHITE RANGER: HY! They closed with the alien pirate and threw punches, jabs, chops, kicks while Borf returned the strikes as well. All of a sudden they were startled by whooshing sounds and glanced up to see fighter jet planes and helicopters zooming into the sky, that of She-Lion, Tai Lung, Ninjara, Shego, Drakken, Belladonna and so forth making their getaway and hot on their heels in pursuit were the Power Rangers of Ron, Kimberly, Cody, Chris and Team Rocket trying to catch them since the enemy decided to make a break for freedom with their stolen loot of course, ENERGON cubes that is. WHITE RANGER: Dang it, they're escaping again. SALLY: Oh, no! BORF: It looks like my gang's eluding your gang's attempt to apprehend them, oops? WHITE RANGER: Very funny, butt-head. BORF: Look who's laughing, no? SALLY: That's it, I'm taking you apart...piece by piece, YES! Again she attacked and again Borf defended her strikes then counter-attacked with his own blows as Acorn repelled them. Then the White Ranger engaged, only to be beaten back also. Meanwhile down at the riverbank, Tails was worried that Kim Possible, aka the Red Power Ranger failed to surface and started to panic. TAILS: Kim! You all right down there? Possible had slammed Tigress into the opposite bank but as she moved in, the kung fu master lashed out, stabbing hard with a crippling-paralyzing blow to the Red Ranger's chest, causing Possible to gasp in pain and shock before passing out into unconsciousness. Laughing, Tigress swam to the surface but came face to face with a startled Miles Prower. TAILS: Hey, where's Kim Possible? TIGRESS: Get lost, shorty. Don't try to stop me either, I'm gone. Asta-la-vista, baby! TAILS: NO! He was about to go after the escaping nWo terrorist but instead changed his mind when he realized Possible was in danger of drowning and dove into the river to rescue her, bring her back to the surface again. Back on the dam's causeway...Borf knocked the White Ranger off the side, sending him falling into the water below, then swept Sally off the causeway as well, down into the rapids below. Watching both fight to keep from being pulled under he taunted his rivals. BORF: So long, Space Ace...Sally Acorn! You'll never stop me. Hm-hm-hm-hm-hmm-hmmm-ah-ha-ha-ha- ha-ha-ha-haah! Then he was gone, disappearing from sight into the far horizon, followed seconds after that by Dr Eggman and Snively who escaped in their flying pods to vanish into the horizon after their allies. Sally and Ace struggled valiantly against the currents of the river as they attempted to avoid being swept to their fate when rescue came in the form of...a flying echidna guardian known as Knuckles of Angel Island! KNUCKLES: Sally Acorn! Hang on, I'll save you! SALLY: Knuckles?! Hurry, grab my hand. KNUCKLES: Hold on, don't let go! SALLY: Pull me out! The guardian of the Master Emerald rose into the sky as he carried the leader of the Freedom Fighters onto dry land and safety again, setting her gently onto her boots again before racing back to assist in saving the White Ranger in the same fashion, also depositing him on dry land again. WHITE RANGER: Thanks, mister. KNUCKLES: You're welcome, stranger. SALLY: Knuckles, how did you know? KNUCKLES: I saw a terrible-horrible vision in the Master Emerald when it showed me you, the Freedom Fighters and Sonic along with these costumed strangers engaged in combating another group of evil looking mutants. WHITE RANGER: So you intervened on our behalf to rescue us. Perfectly timed, I might add. KNUCKLES: Yes, by the way, who are you really? Before Space Ace in his guise form could reply it was Sally who spoke for him. SALLY: I can explain everything, Knuckles. He, is a terran earthling from his world, a planet called Earth in another solar system far away from our own universe. His name is Space Ace, a super hero guardian of his world. WHITE RANGER: That's me! At-tah. KNUCKLES: Whoa! How did you do that? Suddenly a cry for help drew their attention and all heads snapped about to see Tails dragging a limp form of the Red Ranger out of the water onto dry ground again, a look of panic on the fox's face. TAILS: Help! Kim Possible's in danger of drowning! ACE: No! Kim, Kim! SALLY: Oh, my god! KNUCKLES: Uh-oh, not good. TAILS: Help me get her breathing again. ACE: Right, CPR techniques, pronto. Immediately Ace set to work, instructing Sally and Tails how to compress the chest to get the heart beating, blow into the open mouth to force air into the lungs, check for pulse in the neck or wrist, with Knuckles helping out too. After what seemed an eternity, the Red Ranger began coughing and choking, body jerking several times. SALLY: Goodness, is she going into convulsions?! ACE: Get the helmet off, quick! TAILS: Right! ACE: Roll her onto her side, good. Now start hitting her hard in the back to force the water out of her lungs so she can breathe normally again. KNUCKLES: Here, let me help. All three whacked away against Possible's back, making the brunette haired woman cough, spit out water and gasp-wheeze until her breathing slowed down to normal once again. Opening her eyes, she looked up. KIM: What happened? KNUCKLES: Are you all right, lady? TAILS: Possible? KIM: Tails? SALLY: It's okay, it's all right, ma’am. ACE: Possible, how do you feel? KIM: Dizzy, light-headed...ringing in my ears. KNUCKLES: Bad signs, I fear. Space Ace knew Possible was struggling to recover from almost drowning underwater but made sure she was okay, even thanked Tails for rescuing the secret agent to which Miles Prower accepted the congratulations in turn. By the time the remaining forces of Ron, Chris, Cody, Kimberly, James and Jesse returned on-site to morph back to normal forms we assembled at the base of the dam-power plant station to debrief. SONIC: Darn it, the enemy got away. ROTOR: Ah, the heck with it. ANTOINE: I agree, monsieur. I hate it when that happens. BUNNIE: So do I, honey. AMY: Grrmph, those bullies?! KIMBERLY: Maybe we should repair our ship, go back home and forget about the nWo. TEAM ROCKET: What?! CHRIS: No way, that would be like quitting. CODY: I don't quit, give up that easily. RON: Me too! KIM: That goes for me too. ACE: Right, gang. If Borf succeeds here, he'll be impossible to beat on Earth. SALLY: But we will stand by your side all the way to the end, yes?
