Just then the cars and trucks came to a stop, engines shut down as the Peterbilt 379 called out. ACE: Power Rangers, prepare for battle. BORF: Bah, I'll give you a battle you won't forget! Immediately he opened fire with the cannon, deadly beams of blue-white lightning streaked out to explode all around the vehicles the Shockwave knocking them off their wheels, tumbling them like child's toys. BORF: Ha-ha-ha, such is the fate of all who oppose me. SALLY: We'll see about that, Borf! Freedom Fighters, open fire now! As one her gang of Sonic, Tails, Amy, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, and the terran humanoids of Kimberly, Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Ash Ketchum, Naruto Uzumaki, Goku San with Tikal by his side, Team Rocket, Chris Thorndyke, Cody Jones, Prince Omar, Princess Angel and I also opened up with our laser guns to trade shots with the enemy forces confronting us. Immediately we began our rush up the steps to the temple's roof to capture the cannon. BORF: Oh, no you don't, not so fast. EGGMAN: That's it, come and get it, take your medicine but I don't think you'll like the taste of it anyway, ha-ha! Cody Jones made his charge up the stairs but almost got drilled by the deadly beam fired at him, barely ducked out of the way but lost his footing on the stairs, tripped and nearly would've fallen back down had it not been for Bunnie D’Coolette to catch him from behind. BUNNIE: I got you, sir. Take this, butt- heads! CODY: Nice catch, cyborg. Their shots stunned Sleuth Dog and Drago Wolf, dropping them flat. Kim and Ron with the twins rushed up the stairs from the other direction only to have Belladonna waiting for them, sneering down triumphantly. BELLADONNA: I don't think so...foolish mortals, ha! RON: Aaaaargh! OMAR: NO! No one does that to my friend! KIM: Ronnie! Grrrrmph, KILL! ANGEL: Mortal Kombat! Then Angel got hit, she cried out and collapsed prostrate, face down onto the steps in front of Possible who again gasped, yelled in anger as did Omar seeing his sister get tagged. Leaping into the air the Prince of Mobius shoulder tackled the whippet witch, driving her backwards into Borf who staggered against the controls of the Super Infanto Ray cannon it wobbled this way and that way briefly out of control. BORF: Watch it you fools! EGGMAN: What's happening back there, he?! Suddenly Fiona Fox hurled into the attack to engage Omar in combat as Shego clashed with Kim 1-on-1 cat fight brawling. Belladonna having been knocked down briefly got back up, snarling in anger and prepared to blast the red haired brat but was stopped by Naruto who sailed in to parry the lightning bolts with his ninja swords before kicking her away, she went down again. Kim subdued Shego, finishing off her clone double of herself even as Omar was grappling with Fiona in hand to hand combat. FIONA: Urgh, ugh...mmmmmmmph! OMAR: Urrrrrrrgh, mmmmmmph! Back and forth they wrestled fiercely until Fiona pinned Omar to his knees, daring him to give up while sneering down at him triumphantly. FIONA: I win, now surrender and I'll spare your life. Resist, refuse and you... NARUTO: Don't even think of harming his highness, wench! FIONA: Huuuuuuuh?! Gulp! At once she felt cold steel pressed against her throat as Naruto held her from behind, his ninja sword touching the nape of her neck in a menacing posture. An icy chill shot up her spine as she froze, eyes wide in terror and slowly raised her hands. FIONA: Please, mercy...I will not harm him, don't kill me, I beg you! NARUTO: Very good, well done. FIONA: Aaaaaaah, Oooooooh... NARUTO: Hmph, figures. OMAR: Hey, I owe you one, ninja master. NARUTO: Certainly, your highness. Come, let's protect your sister from harm. OMAR: Aye, help my sister. As they rushed to the edge of the temple roof and made their way carefully down the steps to where Ash and Pikacu together with Kimberly were attending to Princess Angel, they joined them in evacuating her back down to safety. All of a sudden a loud whooshing sound caught everyone's attention just as two stealth fighter planes zoomed overhead. SONIC: It's MewTwo! TAILS: And Blaze! AMY: All right! ANTOINE: They're back, they're alive, who-ho! SALLY: Come, up the stairs to take out the cannon, follow me! KNUCKLES: We're right with you, Sally. JULIE-SU: Me too! Reaching the top the Freedom Fighters confronted Borf who leered menacingly back, swiveled the weapon around to take them out. BORF: That's it, you fools. Prepare to be shrunk into my baby slaves. EGGMAN: Oh-ho-ho, you're gonna get it. SONIC: Yeah, try hitting a moving target, no? At once he began running in circles around the alien pirate who did indeed try taking him out but could not seem to hit him. SONIC: What's wrong, sucker? Can't seem to hit a moving target? BORF: You pathetic, stupid rodent! SONIC: Uh, I believe I heard that spoken by Dr Robotnik long ago. EGGMAN: Curse you, Sonic! SONIC: Ha-ha, blagh! He then sprang over the doctor's head, he looked up in anger as the hedgehog hero sailed through the air then landed atop Borf's backside, leaping back off his shoulders into the air to land atop the barrel of the Super Infanto Ray cannon before jumping off again to touchdown again, turning around to leer back at the enraged alien pirate. BORF: You'll pay for that insult, rodent! EGGMAN: Grrrrrmph, kill him now. SALLY: NEVER! EVERYONE, GET HIM! The gang threw themselves at Borf, dog piling onto him and knocking him down and away from the cannon itself; Sally hurried over to destroy the weapon but was tagged when Eggman zapped her with shots fired from his hover pod, she went down in pain. EGGMAN: You're finished, former princess, he-he! SONIC: NO! He scooped up his girlfriend and saved her from being shot again as Eggman gasped "HUH?!!" but before he could blink his eyes, look again both were gone, on one side of the stone staircase where Sonic attended to Sally's wounds, trying to revive her. Just then Chris appeared. CHRIS: No, boss! Is she hurt? SONIC: Yeah, Eggman shot her. Can you save her? CHRIS: Yes, no problem. Meanwhile MewTwo and Blaze were laying down firepower from high above as they nailed the nWo terrorist mutants who tried shooting back but could not seem to take down the free agents. Borf threw off the Freedom Fighters and scrambled back to his super weapon and prepared to open fire on the mutants as they tried getting back up again when suddenly...down came Blaze and MewTwo, both aliens hitting the cannon at the same time which exploded, blew apart as the Master Emerald discharged a powerful surge of energy within into fragmented debris. The Shockwave knocked Borf down but he was back up, fists shaking at the departing stealth planes. BORF: You'll pay for that, MewTwo, Blaze. ACE: Guess again, Borf! It's time you went into retirement, permanently! Then I lifted him into the air over my head and heaved him through the air, he screamed all the way down before crashing onto the ground at the base of the temple, lay there for a moment before climbing back to his feet again in pain and defeat. BORF: nWo, retreat! EGGMAN: I hate it when this happens, aaaaaaaugh! One by one the New World Order terror mutants rose into the air and flew away to disappear into the far horizon. Now that left the problem of repairing the damage done to the Master Emerald as Knuckles stared helplessly at the gemstone. KNUCKLES: Oh, no. It's going to take a long time before the crystal repairs itself again. TIKAL: Oh, no. But at least we destroyed that evil weapon of mass destruction though. JULIE-SU: We did. GOKU: Aye, we did. Then with Cody Jones and assistance from MewTwo and Blaze helping him, a specially designed protection device was placed over the Mother Crystal to help it heal itself, restore its power once again and that of the Chaos Emeralds also. To celebrate this achievement of Jones, all of us used our rings to illuminate the roof of the temple from all directions as beams of light lit up the sky like strobes. CODY: You know, I like it when one of my inventions works. CHRIS: I do too, brother. ACE: Come, gang. We must return to headquarters to revive Queen Sally who was injured in combat as that of Princess Angel and Ron Stoppable, also injured in battle. All of us have fought hard and earned a well deserved victory. SONIC: Yes, but at a cost. KIMBERLY: Affirmative, Sonic. But your girlfriend, Sally that is will recover fully and survive. TAILS: That's good to know, redhead. AMY: Me too, redhead. KIMBERLY: Aaaaaaugh! Laughing all together we morphed back to cars and trucks before driving away, or rather flying away off Angel Island to return to the mainland and New Mobotropolis, leaving behind Tikal and Goku San facing each other atop the temple's roof, holding hands and gazing into their happy smiling faces. TIKAL: I will never forget all you've done for me and that of my ancestors. GOKU: Nor will I forget you, shaman princess. TIKAL: Yes, no matter what happens we will always be together in true love forever. GOKU: Forever... Then they lean in close, arms encircling one another's bodies to hold together and lips closed over one another in another love kiss ritual which they held for a long time with a full moon shining against the background behind them. After what seemed like an eternity they ceased their game of love, Goku backed away and bowed, tears in his eyes as he smiled goodbye, Tikal with tears running down her cheeks, a sad smile on her face as she too silently bade farewell before the Kung Fu master commanded his ring to lift him into the sky, he started to rise away. TIKAL: Goodbye, my friend...farewell, Goku San...I will always remember you. Just then he came back to her, extending his hand to hers, she at first not understanding what he had in mind. GOKU: Come fly with me, shaman. Let's go for a journey together like Peter Pan and Wendy. TIKAL: Oh, certainly...yes. I will fly with you, yes. Then together they rose into the sky, holding hands and flew past the full moon and enjoyed a special time together until disappearing into the horizon and lost from sight as Knuckles and Julie-Su watched.
