Part 9


    But as the two villains prepare to make their escape, somebody stumbles upon them by accident,
that of Chris Thorndyke the little brother to Ace and Kimberly and caught sight of the spies.

CHRIS: Hey! <issues a challenge> What are you two doing?
FIONA: Oh, no! <gasps, then glares> Grrmph, where did you come from?
TIGRESS: Great, just what I need, <also glares> someone to stop me.
CHRIS: Not so fast, Decepticons. <faces them down> I caught you with your hands in the cookie jar.
TIGRESS: Ha, that's what you think, kid.  I'm already leaving.
FIONA: Yeah, so back off, punk. <warns him>
CHRIS: No way! <stands his ground, aims his ring> Prepare to be destroyed, Autobot style.

    Glowering angrily Tigress leaped in to make the first attack against Chris, but the young boy
repelled the attack like Neo in the Matrix films, turning away the punches-jabs with ease then
struck back hard with blows of his own.  Fiona then rushed in to strike down the teenager.

FIONA: Take that, and that! <throws punches and kicks>
CHRIS: Ah-ha, not fast enough to overpower me, butt-head. <blocks her strikes>
FIONA: Why you...<snarls in anger, eyes narrowed> I'll show you.
TIGRESS: Yah! <leaps in again>

    She executed another series of strikes, landing some blows that drove Chris back but he
recovered enough to repel Fiona's attacks she threw at him then sent her reeling back with blows of
his own.  Then jumping up he slammed down both mutants with a split double kick routine and assumed
another fighting stance.

CHRIS: It seems you've met your match, idiots.
FIONA: That's what you think, fool. <glares at him> I'm not finished yet. <back on her boots again>
TIGRESS: Forget him, we must escape...NOW! <raises her ring> Transform, MIG-29 Fulcrum Jet!

    Using her powers to transform into her aircraft guise, Tigress morphed into the Russian fighter
jet plane in seconds, popping open her canopy lid as Fiona scrambled aboard, closing the canopy
over herself, then sneering back at Thorndyke Junior.

FIONA: Asta-la-vista, baby! <mimics the Terminator>
TIGRESS: I'll be back. <mimics the Terminator>
CHRIS: NO! <tries stopping them> Morphing ring, stop them! <aims his device>

    Too late however as the fighter jet plane accelerated away, thrusters blasting out flame
exhaust that shot the MIG into the air and out of Freedom HQ just as Ace and company came running
to investigate the commotion, in time to witness the escaping Decepticon warrior.

KIMBERLY: Good grief, it's Tigress!  She's getting away.
RON: Dang it, she's out of range of our firepower! <mad look>
KIM: What was she doing here, huh?
ROTOR: Gee, I don't know. <looks puzzled>
TAILS: Whoa, was she here on a spy mission or what?
SONIC: That's what I'd like to know.
ACE: Chris?
CHRIS: I ran into her and this lady fox in black attire doing something with the computers when
they attempted to escape.
SALLY: NO! <alarmed, then angry look> Oooooooh, hope they did not steal anything, he?
CODY: I'll access the terminals to see if anything was taken.
TEAM ROCKET: Uh-oh! <scared look>
AMY: So now what do we do, huh?
ANTOINE & BUNNIE: Duh?! <puzzled>
ACE: Let's take this one step at a time before formulating a plan of finding out what the Empire is
up to.
SALLY: Right, Ace.  To work, team!

    So saying the gang began trying to figure out what Tigress and this lady fox were trying to
accomplish for the moment while at that same time the two returned to nWo headquarters at Eggman's
fortress in Robotropolis.  There, Tigress played back the information stolen from the computer
terminals for Borf and Eggman to listen to.

BORF: You did well, my dear.
TIGRESS: Yes, my lord. <bows to him>
EGGMAN: Now all we do is use this to our advantage, the first of several strikes on targets around
the planet.
DRAKKEN: But that's not enough electrical power to make the ENERGON cubes. <protests>
SNIVELY: He? <puzzling frown on his face> How do you know, sir?
BORF: Your knowledge is only overshadowed by your stupidity, brother.
DRAKKEN: D'oh! <mimics Homer Simpson's famous cry>
SNIVLEY: He-he-he, right...<to himself>
BORF: We are going to create a tidal wave, one that will send enough power surging through the dam
and power plant station to make all the ENERGON cubes we need.
NINJARA: Ingenious plan, my leader. <leers>
TAI: Yes, very ingenious indeed. <also leers>
EGGMAN: We hit the dam and power plant at sunrise. <sneers>
SHE-LION: And then the fun begins, he-he-he!

    Borf agreed, knowing this was the first step in his plan of conquering this planet and ruling
the galaxy forever!
