Background: Knuckles is known for his large knuckles, which he uses to fight. He is also the guardian of Angel Island, sworn to protect the Master Emerald. When Dr. Robotnik convinced Knuckles that Sonic the Hedgehog would steal the Master Emerald, Knuckles and Sonic became enemies. Now that Knuckles knows that Sonic is innocent, the two fight against Robotnik on more friendly terms.
