First Appearance: Sonic the Hedgehog #4
Information: Sonic the Hedgehog first became Super Sonic by previously collecting seven Chaos Emeralds and 50 Rings. Sonic entered a special stage using a Star Post and collected another 50 rings to become Super Sonic. By using this new power he was able to overpower Universalamander. Sonic became Super again in the future when fighting against Hyper Knuckles.
