Background: Mina was trying to rescue a loved one when Sonic the Hedgehog stopped her for her own safety. Mina began living in Knothole and became a babysitter for the children. Soon Mina discovered two of her talents: running fast and singing. Mina tried to become a freedom fighter, but she quit when she realized that she was just doing it to be closer to Sonic. Her love for Sonic grew stronger, but her heart was broken when it appeared that Sonic had chosen Princess Sally over her.
