Background: Bunnie was captured by Swatbots and placed into a Bot on the Spot (a portable roboticizer). Luckily, Sonic the Hedgehog and Boomer (a.k.a. Rotor) were in the area. Since the two guys were tethered together so that Boomer could keep up with Sonic, Sonic was unable to save Bunnie until after she was thrown into the Bot on the Spot. Sonic came to the rescue and was able to shut down the machine after it had made half of Bunnie into a robot. Bunnie was taken to Knothole, where her robotic arm and legs turned out to be an advantage.
