Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (or AoSTH for short) was a syndicated series that aired in 1993.  The series follows Sonic and Tails as they stop Robotnik’s attempts to rule Mobius.  Also causing some trouble are Robotnik’s two robots Scratch and Grounder, who constantly fail in their attempts to capture Sonic.  AoSTH is a light-hearted series since there is a lot of humor and sight gags.  Sonic always disguises himself as someone else so he won’t be recognized.  We know it’s Sonic dressed as a reporter from “Mobius Tonight” even though he’s wearing a suit and a wig.  Just don’t tell that to Scratch and Grounder.

If you don’t want to read the episode summaries below, here is a speedy summary of each show:  Robotnik comes up with a plan and sends Scratch and Grounder to put it in action.  Scratch and Grounder set a bunch of traps, and Sonic makes the trap backfire.  Robotnik yells his hatred of Sonic.  Rinse and repeat.
