Silver Star Rabbitry may also "hold" purchased bunnies for short periods of time at the rate of $10/week beginning after the rabbits is 5 weeks old (during its 6th week). A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for any rabbit to be placed on hold after its 5th week of age. Sorry about any inconvenience, but a deposit has definitely become necessary!!
I am willing to meet in/deliver to Calgary free of charge provided I am delivering to somewhere in the north, a small fee (to cover gas) is required for any delivering to southern Calgary, though this fee will be waived if I am in the area already. I can also deliver to surrounding areas (Cochrane, Olds, Irricanna, Red Deer, Edmonton, etc) provided gas is covered at the buyer's expense - again, if I am in the area already (ie. Cochrane), than the fee will be waived.
I am willing to ship within Canada and the US (potentially overseas as well), provided all shipping fees are covered by the shippee. As well, I do require a $15 fee to cover travel to and from the airport if the order is under $100. I like to use West Jet, but am willing to investigate other options. If you would like a vet health certificate, this may also be obtained, but again at the buyer's expense.
A two-week health guarantee is in effect as soon as the buyer has obtained their rabbit, though I reserve the right to bar any injuries/sicknesses not obtained from my rabbitry, as determined by a vet or myself (an example of a case where I would refuse a refund/exchange would be if the rabbit left fine and returned with a broken leg). If the animals is sick within two weeks and the vet determines that it most likely derived from Silver Star (or even if I suspect it may have come from here), I will gladly replace it or offer a refund.
I do take the best possible care of my bunnies and take specific precautions to eliminate risks and to prevent any and all sicknesses from entering my rabbitry. If a sickness does enter my rabbitry, any animals infected or possibly infected are isolated and treated and I notify any inquiring buyers.
