| Tetris has seen itself incarnated in many ways. Now Nintendo takes a stab it, and they've done it just right. Tetris DS combines the addicting and fun gameplay of Tetris, with popular Nintendo characters and music, and adds a bunch of fun new ways to play, as well as multiplayer! Standard mode is regular Tetris with a Mario theme, Mission mode has you completing certain tasks (eg, clearing 3 lines at once) with a Zelda theme, Balloon Fight-themed Touch mode uses only the stylus and touch screen, Push Mode has you in a Tetris tug of war with DK, you solve puzzles of increasing difficulty in Yoshi's Puzzle mode, and Catch mode has you controlling a mass of blocks, while you try to collect pieces so you can blow up Metroids (you have to see it to understand). |
