| Concept In the unique Super Monkey Ball franchise, you guide monkeys inside balls around various stages. But instead of moving the monkey ball itself, you move the actual level around. It's really something you have to try if you want to understand it. Score: 5/5 Graphics Crisp, bright, and colorful graphics give your eyes something to look at. The stages themselves aren't that pleasing to the eye, but the backgrounds and monkeys are. Score: 4/5 Sound Simple background tunes, monkey sounds, and other various sound effects abound. Nothing that impressive, but it serves its purpose. Score: 4/5 Entertainment It really is a lot of fun. If the 150+ stages in Story Mode don't satisfy you (and they will), there are also 12 multiplayer (or single player if you wish) mini-games, from Billiards to Baseball. Score: 5/5 Playability The controls are simple, you simply move the control stick to move the stage. However, some of the levels are very difficult, with some bordering on impossible. Score: 4/5 Replay Value Moderately High. As said in Entertainment, 150+ stages to beat, 12 mini-games to play, there's a lot to keep you occupied, though maybe not much to keep you coming back after that. Score: 4/5 OVERALL: 9/10 |
