| Star Fox Adventures |
| Concept For the first time since Super Smash Bros., Fox came out of the Arwing, and he did a pretty good job of it. The thing is, you can't look at it as a regular Star Fox game, because it's not. Fox isn't flying around the galaxy, shooting down villians. This is an adventure game, and it's a very good one, too. The battle system (with the staff) isn't very complicated, but he eventually gets some spells to use. It also a nice storyline, with some HUGE surprises. Score: 5/5 Graphics This game is excellent to look at. The water effects are some of my favorite, and the dinosaurs and the flora are all beautifully animated. Score: 5/5 Sound The background music is really good. I like the sound of Snowhorn Wastes, personally. Plus, there are some good enemy screams, and nice dinosaur calls. Score: 5/5 Playability It's really simple to play. The staff is brilliantly simple to use, you just keep pressing A and move the control stick around to pull off different moves. Score: 5/5 Entertainment Yeah, it's a fun game. I'd really like to see more Star Fox Adventures games come out. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderate. This game probably wouldn't be that much fun to play through a second time, but it's a lot of fun the first time, and it's a fairly long adventure. Score: 3/5 OVERALL: 9.3/10 |
