Concept
Changing the main character to Shadow brings a lot of new ideas to the table, and it presents the old ideas in a new way, so you don't know what will come next and really love the suspense. Score:
5/5
Graphics
The game doesn't really look any better or worse from previous games in the Sonic series, but it is still everything you expected and more. Score:
5/5
Sound
Despite the fact that a certain swear word appears so much that it basically loses its meaning, a new package of head-banging songs are in the game to keep the volume turned up. Score: 5/5
Playability
The unbelieveably fast pace of the game sort of keeps your eyes locked on your controller instead of on the screen. Score:
4/5
Entertainment
Shadow the Hedgehog is 100% excitement, and that's all there is to it. Score:
5/5
Replay Value
Moderately High.  The six stages don't take long to complete, and even going back to finish every single mission won't be a time consumer.  After that, there's not much else. Score:
4/5
