| REVIEW |
| Concept Another remake of an original game released on the GBA. LeafGreen (along with FireRed) is a remake of Pokemon Red/Blue versions from the original Gameboy. Journey through the Kanto region with updated graphics and new features. Score: 5/5 Graphics Updated graphics look much better than the original Gameboy version, but it still retains its Pokemon charm. All your favorite locales from the original are there but with new graphics. Score: 5/5 Sound The original themes sound much better in this updated version. The squealy sound of the original is replaced by great sounding music. The Pokemon still make the same sound though... Score: 4/5 Playability Same controls as the original, same movement, same menu navigating for battles. It all looks better of course. The game shouldn't be too hard until you get to the Elite Four. Score: 5/5 Entertainment Pokemon games are always fun, regardless of whether they are kiddy or not. The franchise may not be for everyone, but the games are addictive and fun role-playing games. Score: 5/5 Replay Value High. You can play the games a lot because of the large variety of Pokemon to catch, train, and battle with. Score: 5/5 OVERALL: 9.7/10 |
