PIKMIN 2
REVIEW
Concept You've returned to the planet of the Pikmin to collect "treasure" to help the business you work for from going bankrupt. What's different this time is that you've been provided with an unlimited amount of life support, meaning NO TIME LIMIT! You can spend as long as you want on the planet of the Pikmin this time around, and there's plenty to do. Score: 5/5 Graphics The game has received a graphical facelift in the sequel, which is saying something, because the first game looked fantastic! Score: 5/5 Sound Sound has also been improved in this one. Though the simple (yet fitting) background music still remains, your Pikmin are much more vocal. As you walk along, they'll begin to hum the Pikmin theme, and it's very funny. Score: 5/5 Playability The addition of a second controllable character may seem like it'd make it harder, but it doesn't. This game controls are as simple as ever. Score: 5/5 Entertainment This game is so much fun. My favorite part about it, is that the "treasure" you are collecting is actually common real-world items that would seem worthless to us, but are giant and valuable to Olimar, from bottlecaps to Vlasic pickle jar lids to fruit. Plus! There's an extremely fun multiplayer mode. Really, grab a friend and give it a try. Score: 5/5 Replay Value HIGH. You can play for as long as you want, and build up your army of Pikmin (with two new species). There's always something to do, and new things to see. Score: 5/5 OVERALL: 10/10
