| REVIEW |
| Concept Pac-Man World 2 is your standard, run-of-the-mill platformer. There's really nothing special about it. However, Pac-Man Vs. makes up for some of the lost ground with a brand-new idea: multiplayer Pac-Man! And it's a lot of fun. Score: 4/5 Graphics Nothing special. World 2 had pretty ugly graphics, and, though Vs. looks a little cleaner, it's still not all that great. Score: 3/5 Sound Again, nothing special. There's simple background tunes, and standard sound effects. Vs. does have some nifty sound effects (I like when a round starts, and it plays the Pac-Man start theme). Score: 3/5 Playability The controls are responsive, and everything seems to work. Some levels in World 2 are really frustrating, though. Score: 4/5 Entertainment World 2 isn't that great, and won't keep you occupied for long. But Vs. is a great game and a great idea, and lots of fun to play with friends. Score: 4/5 Replay Value Moderate. Like I said, World 2 won't keep your attention for very long, but Vs. is a lot of fun and you should get several plays out of it. Score: 3/5 OVERALL: 7/10 |
