NCAA Football 2005
Review
Concept
This is not just a college edition of Madden.  There are a bunch of new things that you'll never find in Madden.  Score:
5/5
Graphics
The fans seem to have no face emotion, but at least they're not 2-D anymore.  Everything is realistic down to the last pixel.  The game seems to have a few too many moments where everything slows down.  Score:
4/5
Sound
You can't not love the marching band music heard at the main menu, during the game, and everywhere else in between.  Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit give enough commentary to give you a delay of game penalty (it happened to me once).  Score:
5/5
Playability
It seems like a lot of controls, but it's easy to get the hang of.  Score:
4/5
Entertainment
Create schools.  Create players.  Create playbooks.  Create signs.  Play with historic teams.  Try the Pontiac College Classics.  Play rivalry games for trophies or bragging rights.  Play with mascots.  Shall I go further?  Score:
5/5
Replay Value
Moderately High.  Because we can't wait for next year's version.  Score:
4/5
OVERALL: 9/10
