MARIO PARTY 7
REVIEW
Concept Wow, I can't believe Mario Party has already made it to 7. I wonder what they'll do for 10?... Anyway, on his latest trek, Mario and friends are visiting locations based on real world locations (I'd guess because there's 7 continents, or something?) like Pyramid Park (Egypt) and Neon Heights (Las Vegas, Nevada). It's an interesting idea, along with over 80 mini-games, the new reigning champ for most new games (beating out Mario Party 5). Score: 5/5 Graphics Unfortunately, the graphics seem to have taken a hit in this installment, and the game looks less polished than 5 and 6. Score: 4/5 Sound Hey, guess what? I'm going to say the SAME THING I did for the other games. ;) The tunes are catchy and repetitive, the voices and sound effects are kind of annoying. But they're all Mario-flavored! Score: 4/5 Playability I'm getting so repetitive with these games! I'm sorry. But the controls still haven't changed, everything is exactly the same. Easy control on the board, directions for the mini-games before each one. Score: 5/5 Entertainment You gotta love those mini-games. There's a lot of them in this Mario party, and they're always lots of fun. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderate. Again (I know, not again!), these games won't keep you occupied for very long. It's just lucky they're released so often. Score: 3/5 OVERALL: 8.7/10
