| Concept Another Mario Party game. This one makes it a little more interesting by adding a night and day system, which affects boards, events, and mini-games. And it doesn't feel like a gimmick. It's still yet another Mario Party game, though. Score: 4/5 Graphics The graphics are on par with the ones from Mario Party 5, and that's a good thing. Score: 5/5 Sound More catchy and repetitive Mario tunes and irritating sound effects. But it's Mario sound, and you've gotta love Mario sound. Score: 4/5 Playability You may view any previous or future Mario Party reviews. The controls aren't different, and probably never will be. Moving on the board is easy. Mini-games are explained right before you start them. Simple. Score: 5/5 Entertainment It's fun! The night/day system is great, changing mini-games and board rules, opening new paths, closing others, and having new characters come out on the boards. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderate. Again, you will play through each board a few times, and then you'll probably get bored with the game again. It's fun while it lasts, but it doesn't last long enough. Score: 3/5 OVERALL: 8.7/10 |
