MARIO PARTY 5
REVIEW
Concept Though Mario Party 4 didn't bring much new to the game, Mario Party 5 makes up for it with new characters, lots of new modes, more than 70 new mini-games (the biggest addition to a Mario Party game this far) and, of course, new boards. Score: 5/5 Graphics There were some graphical improvements from Mario Party 4, and it looks a lot better. Score: 5/5 Sound Still repetitive board background music, still repetitive mini-game music, and still slightly annoying character voices and sound effects. But they all still have a Mario-esque sound to them. Score: 4/5 Playability I could just say "see Mario Party 4 review." But to save you some mouse clicks, it's easy to move around the board, and instructions for mini-games are right there when you start it. Score: 5/5 Entertainment Yet another fun entry in the Mario Party series. As always, the mini-games are the best part. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderate. The entire series suffers in the replay department, because it really is easy to get bored pretty quick. Score: 3/5 OVERALL: 9/10
