| With every installation of Mario Kart, Nintendo always improves the game. In Mario Kart DS, Nintendo has added new items, characters, multiple karts for each character, new courses, and... old courses! In Mario Kart DS, not only are there 16 brand new courses, which make up the Nitro Grand Prix, but there are also 16 courses from previous Mario Kart titles: Super Mario Kart (SNES), Mario Kart 64 (N64), Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA), and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GCN). They make up the Retro Grand Prix. One of my favorite Retro Grand Prix courses is Moo Moo Farm from the N64 game! Battle Mode is included (with 4 new arenas, Block Fort from MK64, and Pipe Plaza from MK:DD!!) and just as fun as ever. And don't forget Wi-Fi racing. Start your engines! |
