Having saved Princess Peach from the evil Cackletta in the Beanbean Kingdom (see Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga), Mario and Luigi are taking a well-deserved rest. Recently, Professor E. Gadd invented a time machine, which Princess Peach, eager to visit the Mushroom Kingdom of yesteryear, prompty uses to take a time vacation. But when the time machine returns, Princess Peach is no where to be found! The time machine is busted up, and an evil creature has taken her place! Now, Mario and Luigi have to travel back and forth through time to find the princess, all while dealing with their younger counterparts (Baby Mario and Luigi, anyone?) and an evil race of aliens that want to conquer Mushroom Kingdom, past and present!

And you thought their LAST adventure was hilarious? Now the Mario bros. are teaming up with their young selves on a quest of lunatic proportions. Control both sets of bros. in this action-packed role-playing game as you explore the very fabric of time and take on an evil alien entity known as the Shroobs.
-Use both screens to study the land, keep track both pairs of bros., and maximize combo moves in battle.
-Dodge attacks then use items like Red Shells to team up all four bros. for super moves!
