Madden NFL 2005
REVIEW
Concept The new features make this game ten times better than last year's. There are seriously, like, no flaws. Score: 5/5 Graphics There are still the more-than-often moments where the players can walk through each other. Haven't they figured out a way to prevent that yet? Score: 4/5 Sound Awesome. John Madden's commentary sometimes is rather lengthy, however, plus his insight is simply, "This is a good play to call." But there is great background music, and the crowd sounds real. Score: 4/5 Playability The Hit Stick isn't the greatest. However, with Madden's continual use of the Z button and C-stick, there are more features and stuff that can happen. Score: 3/5 Entertainment There's a bunch of different features. When you add the minigames and everything else together, this is a great game. You can't play this the same way twice, since there are over 10,000 ways to play. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderately High. Next year we'll be playing Madden 2006 instead. Score: 4/5 OVERALL: 8.3/10
