| While this game definitely takes a turn from the other Final Fantasy games, this is by no means a bad thing! In fact, this is one of my favorite games for GBA. But enough about my opinions, more about the game. Like I said, this is a different style from the other games in the series. There is an overworld map, but it is simply used to get from place to place. The meat and potatoes of this game are the battles, which are turn-based. Each turn you move and then perform an action, like attacking, casting magic, and using items. There is an incredibly deep character building system, with several races, and jobs for each race. Definitely a must-have for turn-based strategy fans. |
