| Concept Mario Kart has always been one of the most fun racing game series, with its Mario characters, wacky locations, and item power-ups. Mario Kart Double Dash!! doubles the fun with two characters on each kart. Score: 5/5 Graphics The best looking Mario Kart game to date, the characters are smooth and the racing tracks are well-detailed with Mario-themed goodness around every turn. Score: 5/5 Sound Catchy background tunes populate all the tracks, including my favorite, Rainbow Road, a staple in Mario Kart games. All the items have their own sound effects, and all the characters have short voice clips for winning, losing, getting hit, etc. Score: 5/5 Playability A to go, control stick to turn, multiple buttons to set off items... Simple and easy to learn controls so you can keep your eyes on the road. Score: 5/5 Entertainment Since when hasn't Mario Kart been fun? Just try it for yourself, you'll love it. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderately High. There's lots to unlock, and plenty to do, but once you've unlocked and tried everything, there's not much to do. Score: 4/5 OVERALL: 9.7/10 |
