On the night of the ball to celebrate Princess Serena's birthday, the Negaverse attacked the Moon Kingdom. They had broken free of their galaxy and now Queen Baryl wanted to rule their galaxy so she attacked the strongest point. Her and her four generals along with their shadow creatures had also attacked the other planets of Queen Serenity's Court; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and the Outer Planets; Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. Prince Edymion stayed with Princess Serena and helped defend their Kingdom. He was captured by the Negaverse and then so was Serena. Through the attack Queen Serenity watched while chaos destroyed everything she had worked so hard on and everything she loved, including her only daughter.
After everything settled she was the only one left alive along with her two trusted advisors, Luna and Artemis (who were cats for those of you who didn't know). She had lost everything and she wanted her beloved daughter to live a full and happy life. She said to her advisors that she must use the Imperium Silver Crystal. Though it would use up all her strength and kill her she would have to. So she attached it to her Crescent Wand and trapped the 8 shadow warriors into a section of the Crystal that broke into 8 rainbow crystals that she sent to Earth. Queen Serenity used the last of her strength to send Princess Serena, Prince Edymion, and the rest of her court to Earth to live a full life with no memory of their previous life on the Moon.. She told her advisors that if any evil should return, their memories would return and they would know what to do. And with that she laid her head down on a fallen column and died.
