| Well this is the part of the site where I get to explain the long and boring story about how it came to be in hopes that someone someday who comes across this site will actually want to read this. Why not you? C'mon, you've gotten this far? Why not go all the way? Yay! Keep reading... Well this site's actually still pretty new since it only opened in April. So it's only about...what...two and a half months old? Geez! It feels older than that! Considering the fact that you're sitting behind this screen just about every day. I guess the whole thing actually started out about a year ago when I was really into SailorMoon. I went on the net and visited all these sites and collected all these really great pics and had them stockpiled in a folder on my desktop. *giggles* ^_^ Me and my sisters would take turns on the net going to all these different sites collecting pics, and then we would trade them with eachother. It was kinda like, "You give me this, for this." *lol* I can't believe we actually did that! Anyways, after about half a year of gathering, searching, and collecting, I kinda lost interest in it for a lil while. I still kept the pics on my desktop and told myself one day I would return to my once favorite hobby. I guess I never did...until about a year later. That's when I started getting back into it, not as enthusiastic as I once was, but still into it enough to make me realize, all these people have webpages, why didn't I? Plus, it always annoyed me when I went to some unorganized sites, or sites with not so great quality pics. So I decided to build my own website! ^_^ THE END! He he! You didn't really think that was the end didya? You still feel like you wanna read on? Ok then. Read on! Well through all my website hopping, I noticed that people had their webbies built on hosts like Geocities and Angelfire, just to name some of the more common ones I encountered. So the next site I went to had a Geocities host, so I jumped on the link and was headed down the path of endless hours of frustration, the long nights of staring... and staring...and staring, until your eyes go like this @_@, the pointless words, the useless numbers, all that aggravation! and... and... OH!!!... all the blisters from typing!!! Why?!... Why?! *breaking down to tears* NOOOOO!!! The horror! The horror! Stop it I say!!! Just sta...*AHHEM!!*.....wha? Oh, uh, ahehe ^_^() Sorry there. Got a lil bit carried away! So uh, oh yeah, well the link led me to the Geocities website and I was a lil hesitant to continue with the registration... BUT!...I did anyways. I was so excited to begin my own site! Then I could make it whichever way I wanted and design it the way I felt fit. But I had no idea it would be this hard >_< Actually building a GOOD website does take some rock solid dedication and the willingness to want to do it. Then why did I bother you ask? Well then, *lights dim. looks scheming* I'll tell you... SO I CAN CONTROL THE ONLINE SAILORMOON COMMUNITY!!! I'll take it over, and delete all the other Sailor Moon websites out there! Then mine will be the only one left! And people will be forced to sign my guestbook! BWAHAHAHAHA! *AHHEM!!!* Sorry, now that time it wasn't me, that was the download that got lost in my computer a few months ago. tsk tsk tsk *shakes head* Such a tragic story, so lost, alone, and unappreciated. Oh well ^_^ What's new? OK, on with my story. At first I had no idea where to begin. I went to all these sites in the past and had the exact idea of what I wanted it to look like and what I didn't want it to look like. But there were so many possibilities! So I just started with the name *lol* ^_^ Did you know that this site was actually first called the Sailor Moon Star Kingdom?! *cracks up* That's such a funny name!!! I can't believe my mind actually thought that up! *settling down* Oh boy ^_^ Anyways, I then began to upload all my collected pics cuz that's what this site was actually based upon. I wanted to have, if not the best, a very good collection of pictures so that anyone who came here wouldn't have to keep searching in different places. Well now that I look at it, my galleries have barely changed since those first few weeks I uploaded them. I was always planning on uploading Manga Pics but I just didn't have enough room! And I guess after that, everything just kinda lay itself out. I wanted more interactiveness and more things to do. So one thing led to another, and another, and another, and another, until it was an all out mania! Even graphics!! I kept adding and updating until it's basically what is is today. I went through two layouts so far, and so far this is the one I like best ^_^ I wish I could've come up with the idea of taking the layouts' pics and showing it to ya (that is if I even knew how do do it) and then you could see how pathetic I really was. Anyways, CONGRADULATIONS! You just got through reading these extremely long and pointless words! Not thaw wasn't too hard now was it? See? I toldya! I would have given you a badge except I have to go and make it first -_-THE END! |
