:: December 3, 2003 (2:06pm) :: Song of the Moment- Clay Aiken: Bridge Over Troubled Water Hey, it's been a while. hasn't it? (not that anyone actually visits me or anything, but it's nice to think SOMEONE cares...jk/lol). Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl came out on DVD yesterday...I went straight after school and bought it and let me say, it ROCKS. I totally recommend it.
Hmm...what's "new" in my life? Absolutely, positively, NOTHING :o). j/k, there HAS to be SOMETHING happening otherwise I'd just be a hermit in my room all the time. Let's see. Last week was Thanksgiving (fun, fun, fun) and I got a WHOLE WEEK off from school. Cool, eh? On Sunday morning (the 23rd I believe) we started our 7 hour drive up to Tallahassee to visit that beautiful Florida State University (FSU). We began the college tour that Monday and went that rainy morning to visit the Film school. (which was awesome, by the way). While waiting for orientation to begin, a late arrive waltzed in...a guy that goes to school with me. His name's Alex and although I am fully aware of his attraction to the film, I for some reason didn't put 2 and 2 together and was completely surprised to see him there. (He in turn was surprised as well, so it was just a little surprise-fest). Anyway, after orientation, we took a tour and let me just say I SO wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life there. It was so cool and the college in and of itself was beautiful. *dreamy sigh* I'm in love ;o)
Tuesday we rose early, ate the continental breakfast down stairs in the hotel lobby and packed our things. Once we were ready, we set off for a 3 1/2 hour drive to Orlando/Merrit Island/Cocoa (a lot of slashes...). We went and stayed with my sister, Kim (25) who's pregnany with her 2nd kid...5 months pregnant. And she doesn't look it which is COMPLETELY unfair. *sigh* it'll all catch up some day. Anyway, Wednsday we went and visited the University of Central Florida (UCF). It was really nice, but I still prefer FSU. The main thing I liked about the school was their housing (dorms) because they have suites (two people per room, 4 people share a connected bathroom). After that trip, we stayed at my sister for the last night and Thursday afternoon drove home.
We got back to wonderful Coral Springs (yippie....) and went straight to my grandma's house for Thanksgiving dinner where the whole family (excluding my sister's family) congregated and ate like there was no tomorrow (after I dropped the fruit salad ^^'). That night, I went with my cousin Courtney, her boyfriend, Carl and my other cousin, Jason to see The Cat in the Hat...it was OK, I'm not saying it was AWEFUL, but, I dunno...I didn't really enjoy it....but it had a good message at the end and there were some funny moments.
Friday...my last day of vacation, was ruined by the flu....I threw up the ENTIRE day....woo hoo.... NOT FUN. I don't think I've ever watched so much television in MY LIFE....lol...but it's over now and I'm getting better...I guess that's just how life is: full of unexpected surprises. Take care all who decided to read this ;o).

:: October 22, 2003 (10:33pm) :: Song of the Moment- Christina Aguilera: The Voice Within. Well, the quarter has ended and I recieved my report card: 3.7 GPA, how AWESOME is that! The only B's I had were in Pre-Calc and History of My Faith...dunno how that happened...
Anyway, I've done a few things to the site. It's all of my fanfics, I can't believe I just thought of putting them on here! Anyway, here's the link --> FanFics. Cool, eh? I put up a new chapter to my newest story, a Harry Potter story, case you wanna check it out. Also, if you look up toward the top middle of the page you'll see something that says '225 days 'til POA'. (tomorrow it'll change, btw). It's a countdown clock for the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I got it from Contra Veritas, a Draco/Hermione 'shipper site. Well, my contacts are bothering me, so I'm gonna go take 'em out. See ya'll 'round da net!

:: October 8, 2003 (8:56pm) :: Song of the Moment- Clay Aiken: Invisible. My first quarter of school ends tomorrow....already...dang, time flies, doesn't it? *SIGH* I've really been trying to take this year one day at a time, and the moment I begin to like it all, it's already 1/4 over...weird, eh? We've already had Homecoming week, too. Monday was Beach Day, Tuesday Life Cycle Day (Freshman=babies, Sophomores=college preps, Juniors=working class, Seniors=senior citizens), Wednsday was Wacky Wednsday where you basically just mismatched your clothes...that was a fun, comfortable day, Thurday was Decades Day (Freshmen=50s, Sophomores=60s, Juniors=70s, Seniors=80s) and also the night of the Lip Synch Contest. That's gotta be my favorite part of the whole week; I believe that is mainly because I'm always excited to see what these four guys in my grade are doing. They've done it every year since 9th grade (and we FINALLY won this year!). Alex, Mike, Nate and Ryan (the 4 guys) did "Footloose"...it was SO GOOD. They also had a little snippit from that song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (ya know, "Turn around, every now and then I get a little bit lonely, la la la la la la la..." etc). Anyway, Friday was Famous People Day...I was Lara Croft, Tomb Raider...hehehe, and people KNEW that I was, too!! HA! How cool is that?! I should dress up like that again and have someone take a picture this time. I was gonna just be that for Halloween but I've already decided on being Hermione...I've already got the skirt...hehehe, I'm so excited for Oct. 31st, that's such a fun holiday! And, of course, Saturday was the Game and the Dance (which I actually went to this year). All-in-all it was fun. Oh, by the way, Seniors won the Spirit Stick ;)
OH! Guess what ELSE happens this week? I have to take the SATs this Saturday...ew...NOT looking forward to that. Last time I got a 920...HOW MUCH DOES THAT SCORE SUCK?!?! Err....I'm so afraid that I'm gonna do worse this time around, too....All I'm shooting for is a 1000 or above! That's all I want, is to at least FEEL smart!! AH! *SIGH* Oh well...the only thing I can do is study like hell and pray to GOD that I pass...OBKB, well, I'm gonna go take out my contact lenses....they're bothering me....

:: September 10, 2003 (9:20pm) ::Song of the Moment - Evanescence: Bring Me To Life. School's been in session now for almost a month...odd...really odd. Anyway, I was able to fix my schedule with my Guidance Counselor, my mom had to call her b/c apparently MY requests weren't enough...lol, anyway, my schedule stands as thus:
*1st- English IV, 2nd- Pre-Calc, 3rd- History of My Faith (Bible), 4th- Web Design (Yey!), 5th- Research (aka Study Hall), 6th- Psychology (yeck), 7th- Yearbook (DOUBLE Yey!)
Yearbook is such a great class! I love it to no end! Awesome awesome awesome!! HEhehehe.
Like the new layout? Draco Malfoy is a hottie...I LOVE TOM FELTON! I'M GONNA MARRY HIM SOMEDAY!! LoL..I can only wish :D. Well, as you could most likely guess, I am pretty close to obssessed with Harry Potter (namely a sexy blonde Slytherin, hehehehe). Hmm...what's happened since I last wrote besides a new layout and school starting? Uh....oh yeah! I'm getting my license on Friday!!! FINALLY after almost 2 years of having my permit, I finally get to drive a car BY MYSELF! WOOHOO!!! hehehehe (doing a lot of laughing today). Oh, boastful moment! My English teacher said I was a "Natural writter"...how awesome is that?!?! hehehe, that's awesome, I suppose writting all that fan fiction DOES get one places....
Well my contacts are bothering me so I'm gonna excract them now....until we meet again!
:: August 16, 2003 (12:49am) :: Song of the Moment - Black Eyed Peas f/Justin Timberlake: Where is the Love?. Well, school starts in....3 days. It's so surreal. It seems like only yesterday that summer started and now I'm already going back for my last year of high school...it's so scary. It's really almost over. It's kinda sad, I mean...I dunno, it's hard to explain. It's exciting but at the same time terrifying. If you've ever graduated, you'll know what I mean. And the worst part is, I don't even know what I wanna do with my life. I've been thinking for some time that I wanted to work in the film industry, making movies. I tried acting, and realized I don't have the guts for it...but I'm still pulled toward it. Its weird. I can't seem to get away from it, it follows me everywhere I go.
I went to Meet Your Teacher Day this afternoon. I'm STILL in the process of getting my schedule changed around to fit in Yearbook. My mom's actually calling the Guidance Councilor to talk to her about it, I mean Seniors DO get first pick on their classes. My friend's mom even gave me a pep talk today, encouraging me to demand the classes I wanted. lol, it was so nice, an adult sitting there yelling that I should be able to have the classes I want since it's my last year. Which is true. That's the whole reason that Seniors get first picks on their classes because it's their last year. And it makes sense, doesn't it? I think it does. As of now, since I don't know if I'll be getting Yearbook, Web Design is the only class I'm looking forward to. *sigh*, hopfully I'll get this damn schedule thing straightened out, this is getting riddiculous. Well, I gotta be at work tomrrow at 8am, I should head to bed now. BYEbye!
