Date: May 16 2000
Location: Lafayette, LA
Arena: Cajundome
Match: with Arn Anderson vs. Daffney, David Flair, & Jeff Jarrett
Comments: Flair collapsed at the end of the match. He told Mike Mooneyham:
"It scared me pretty bad," said Flair. "I fell over twice in the ring. I think I scared (Vince) Russo as much as I scared myself. I got up to go get David (Flair), and I fell over twice, and couldn't get my balance back. I got up again, and I thought I was just imagining, and then I couldn't get up again. I crawled over to the corner and told Charles (Robinson) that I thought something was wrong with me. I started pinching my legs and my arms. I thought I had done something to my neck. It just really scared me."

David, meanwhile, reportedly was in a state of panic backstage as EMTs tended to Flair, whose initial blood pressure reading was 180/120 before dropping back down to 122/80. Ric, however, remained calm and was able to stand on his own, turning down requests that he go to the hospital, insisting that the incident was most likely a re-occurrence of an inner-ear problem he suffered nearly 10 years ago, which proved to be the case.

"I went back, laid down on the floor and couldn't get up again. I don't know for sure, but I think it's that inner-ear thing," Flair said the day after the incident. "I didn't have a stroke or anything like that. I was numb, but it was more like anxiety doing it."
