A penny for your thoughts..

Silver-penny.net was registered on December 28th 2001. I co-own beneathmywings.org and won't keep it when it expires in March. I was considering getting a new domain in February, and it was pure coincidence that it went so fast now. While beneathmywings.org is a collective domain, silver-penny.net is a personal domain. It wasn't supposed to be one, but the name fits me too well as that I'd have used it as a normal domain.

Hosting

Although this is a personal domain, I am hosting, yes. I'll only host friends or people whose sites I think would fit in here. So, there's no application form for hosting here. You may email me if you're interested though. I'm looking for personal sites only, and hostees who are willing to blog at a hostee blog and basically, to be active in the domain happenings. You could just try your luck.:)

How did you make the image map?

I used CoffeeCup ImageMapper to make it. It's a free and very easy to use tool.

Is it difficult to set up a domain?

No, it is not.

What is FTP / Will you teach me FTP?

FTP is a way to upload files to a server, you use it instead of your file manager upload. I won't teach you FTP, but there's a good tutorial at Dodo's World.

Can I link you? / Do you do link exchanges?

You can link me, of course. In fact, I'd find that pretty cool, hehe. But I don't do link exchanges. I only link sites I have bookmarked and that I link because I want to, not because I get hits through them because they link me as well.

Will you make me a layout / a site?

No I won't. Will you make me a graphic? I'm willing to help you, yes. But I won't set up a whole layout or a whole site for you, I don't have the time and motivation to do that. And it's your site, anyway. Yet, I'm willing to help you with graphics, as long as you're not too demanding.
