So today I didn't get to see my man. As I mentioned last nite, he's out attending to business so I stayed home and relaxed. I sorta rearranged my sisters stuff on her desk, so that I can get some room to work here. :-) Even tho I did nothing, it was a pretty productive day.
First I woke up at 1pm to use the toilet. I was going to go straight back to bed, but then when I was washing my hands I realized there's hot water (there was a notice that said there wouldn't be any hot water from 9am to 2pm)!! So I immediately jumped into the shower and took a nice long hot shower. Wow, felt so good afterwards. Since I had nothing to do today, I took my sweet time with everything. By the time I came out, I realized that I took an hour in the bathroom and missed my man's call!
I then went and tried to visit upgrading my sisters Anti-virus software. I had to restart the Live Update 3 times before I could upgrade it due to the slow dial up. I got fed up and decided to drag my cable modem box over my vanity table and stretched it so far to connect it to my sister's comp that the modem is now hanging in mid air! I hope I don't break anything!!! So finally I have cable connection with this computer. Once I get my own computer fixed, I'm going to get a hub for the cable modem. My friend wanted to hook up wireless network in my house, but I think I rather use a hub. I feel more secure that way. I like it when things are physically connected with each other. Having connections "floating" in the air, gives me the insecure feeling. Strange, I know... sue me!
So after that, I took some time out to spend with my family and watched some movies, series, and just bugged out. I think I had 10 meals today! Everytime I watch TV I need to have something to munch on. No wonder I don't watch TV much. If I did, I'd be triple my size right now!! lol. During the quality time with my family I tried to check my email and chatted for a few. So all that took a lot of time out of me. But I feel good cause I did a lot of things today. The only thing I didn't do was talk to my man. Since he had business to attend to, we missed out on having our friends drop by to hang with us. Oh well. I guess there's always next week.
Sigh... its 11:45pm, and I should be heading to bed so I won't be falling asleep at work tomorrow. Doing Open Houses are a bitch. You gotta sit in the lobby and wait for people to stop by the building. When no one is around to see apartments, I gotta sit there with nothing to do. Talking on the phone is not "company time" and reading the newspaper is not good for the "appearance". Sometimes I bring my book, but I read hardcover books and those things can be very heavy! Especially since I'm reading "The Da Vinci Code". So far its a pretty good book. I like "Angels and Demons" (prequel to "The Da Vinci Code") better. For those of you who read "The Da Vinci Code" you gotta read "Angels and Demons"!!!
