I'm so embarrassed! Well, let me tell you my day. First off, I started my day real slow and late. I got to work at 11am. I felt real lazy this morning and to top it off, I missed my 9am Golden Girls, so I decided to watch the 10am Golden Girls. I watched about 15 mins of it and had to leave. Wasn't going to risk getting to work after 11am, since that's my cut off.

I get to work and no one is in the office. I then remembered that my boss had a closing to attend at 9:30am. My co-worker Mike was still sick (I'm sick too, but I went to work! :-P). Anyway, Ken (my boss) left a lot of notes for me. I sat down and started working. I actually accomplished a lot today. Nothing was major but at least I can say I did something. Well, after awhile, my boss returns to the office and makes a couple of phone calls and gives me updates. I then realized that it was after 3pm! I had not eaten yet. So I took off 10 mins and went to the supermarket to get something to eat. I got a pepperoni (I know I know) calzone, a lemon, a 2-liter of Diet Mountain Dew, and a box of Cream of Chicken. I got back to the office heated up my calzone, made the Cream of Chicken, and made myself a cup of hot tea with lemon. Felt a lot better after eating. After awhile, my boss left the office to leave me alone... for awhile... lol. He likes to call me on the house cell phone a lot. So I'm working and around 5 something he calls me on the house cell to remind me to do some mailings for our Open House on Sunday. Tells me to go home soon b/c I'm sick. Tells him that I'm waiting for someone to pick me up. His response was, "ooooooooh... excuuuuuuse me... forget I said anything then... byyyyyyyyyye!" LOL... sometimes my boss can be so cute and funny. Don't get any wrong ideas, he's in his 50s!!! LOL

After work, Chuckie comes pick me up at the subway station. Because of the rain he takes me home. While riding the train we started talking about one of his co-workers who got shot on 24th Street. Its interesting how 2 different medias can have similar stories but totally different impressions from each other and definitely totally different from the real story. Since he was at the scene he told it as it was.

After I got home, I called my sister to see if she was getting out of work yet. I then called my ex Steve to see how he was doing with his gf. Turns out the pregnancy came out negative twice. He's still worried that she might be pregnant. I'm glad for him and his gf. They are not ready to have a child yet. Especially with the way he reacted to the news. Later, as I'm watching T.V. I realized something... was it possible that Jennifer (his gf) tried to keep him by saying she was pregnant? My mom says its possible, but its also possible that the pregnancy test was unable to detect the pregnancy. She explains that it happened with my sister. She went to get tested and the doc said she was not pregnant. So thinking she's not pregnant and probably only a bit heated up inside, she eats watermelons and a lot of cool food. A month later she discovered she was pregnant with my sister for two months already!! lol. She's so lucky!! Anyway, I might bring it up to Steven. After all, that was over 20 years ago!! Technology and science are so much more advanced now.

Anyway, two things happened to me today that is very interesting. The first thing started with a simple email. Someone emailed me and gave me his number and asked me to call him. I replied with, "who's this?" Turns out to be my ex Claude. He's my first so-called bf. He's also Jamaican (strange right?! lol) He was my first black man, first bf, first sex partner, first guy with a car, and first older guy I dated. We didn't have a very good past. Well, there were good times. The nites we spent talking on the phone all the time. Those were fun days. He was a straight A student at the time. Still remember how he tried to talk himself out of a B+ b/c he felt he deserved at least an A. :-D We went out for about 3 months. After that we ran into each other once near my job. That was such a surprise. He lives in the Bronx and I work in Battery Park City. How'd I know I was going to run into him there! After that we didn't really keep in touch. Today he emailed me back and told me that he has a 2 yr old son and will be proposing to his gf soon. Such a big change. It has been awhile since we've seen each other. I met him back in 99. My gf and I remember it so clearly b/c the first day I met him was May 20th, 1999. At the time I was 20... so that was my "big 2-0" day. lol. Anyway, there is one thing I wanted to say on here about what happened today. I want to apologize to Claude for being a "bitch" about the email. I had made an assumption and embarrassed myself!

Claude, I am sorry for reacting like a bitch. Please accept my apology.

The second interesting thing that happened to me is Kenny. Awhile back, Kenny had emailed me from AA. AsianAvenue.com. We kept in touch and Kenny gave me his cell number. I gave him my email address. One day he invites me to a survey at his job. I missed the opportunity. They were paying $150 for a 2 hr survey. Ah well. Anyway, Kenny calls me last nite as I was at the laundromat with Chuckie. Reception was real bad. Told him I was going to call him back later. By the time I got home, it was real late, so I didn't bother to call him. Tonite, with nothing to do, I decided to give him a call. He calls me back 5 minutes later and we talked for about 20 mins. He invited me to a Christmas party on 16 Pell Street at a Karaoke place. December 16th at 9pm - 12am. The party will consist of all business and professionals. He rented the whole club for the nite. So anyone can drop by. All his friends will be ranging from 20 yrs old and up. Kenny is 29 himself. I'm actually thinking of attending the party. That week or the next my bf is taking it off for his birthday. So I'm thinking to see if he'll still be in town by then to go with me. I'd take all my single friends and sister over there! hehehe... it'll mostly be Chinese speaking Cantonese! Good for Mike!! LOL. I've never been to a party, so this one would be my first. I'd like to get to know more Chinese people and friends. I don't have much!

OK, that's it for now. I will post up a reminder for the Christmas Bash every month... or at least try to. But first I will make sure that its legite. I will let you know. =) After all that is on Pell Street. And anyone who knows Chinatown knows Pell is not the best place to be on. Once I find out, I'll let you guys know if I'll be there. =)
