This new ruler, known only as Discord, has brought a dark cloud over a now-ruined Earth.
When Selenity fell, the ginzuishou shattered into an unknown number of fragments and they shot out all around the planet. Many of the shards had only slight affects on their bearers and were passed on without the tiniest inkling.
But the nine largest and brightest of the shards, also passed down to children, brought a sense of a greater purpose to the bearers who went on to become leaders of their villages and communites -- spiritual guides, travellers, explorers. These nine shards were those that the planetary senshi were to bear inside their hearts and souls.
The senshi are awakening.
And, as usual, the greatest dark power, Discord, is looking to piece the ginzuishou back together and rule the world with the ultimate power.
