From 1960 to 2002, we are the best fans in the NFL!  Of the best team in the NFL!  The Oakland Raiders!  We are Commited to Excellence!!!
Watch Charles Woodson, Rich Gannon, Tim Brown, Lincoln Kennedy and Shane Lechler, Feb. 9, 2002 from Hawaii on CBS at 11:30 AM.
Go to the official Raiders store to pick up the latest in hats, shirts, jackets, jerseys and much more.  Also check out the new AFC Championship gear.
January 27, 2002 - Jon Gruden's agent has reported that Gruden will not sign an extension on to his contract that expires at the end of the 2002 season.  Gruden will stay with the team in 2002, but would not mind going to another team.
Jerry Rice has another season in his 39 year old legs, at least.  Rice said on the Jay Leno Show that he will not retire, and is going to be back in the Silver and Black in 2002.
The expansion draft is out, and the five Raiders on the list are Terry Kirby, Elijah Alexander, Marquez Pope, Josh Taves and Marcus Knight.  The Houston Texans have the oppertunity to take any of them for the 2002 season.
Matt Stinchcomb has signed a 3 year contract and is going to move to Guard to take Steve Wisniewski's spot.  Barry Sims also signed a 5 year contract.  Oakland's offensive line has a bright future.
January 20, 2002 - Steve Wisniewski has hung up the Silver and Black.  Wiz has played in almost every Raiders game since 1989.  He has been to the Pro Bowl,  he will enter my Oakland Raiders Silver Raid Hall Of Fame, along other offensive linemen Jim Otto, Dave Dalby, Gene Upshaw and Art Shell.
William Thomas has retired after 11 years in the NFL, two as a Raider. Thomas had a career year in 2002, 88 tackles, 3 sacks and 3 interceptions for 46 yards.
Eric Allen is thinking about retiring.  Allen had a down year, he had 55 tackles and only one interception.
January 29, 2002 - Charles Woodson will be starting his fourth straight Pro Bowl Feb. 9, 2001.  Also Rich Gannon, Lincoln Kennedy, Tim Brown and Shane Lechler.
There is a new profile of Terry Kirby at Raiders.Com.  Kirby has been a backup Running Back and a Kick Returner.  Go There and check at the new profile.  Terry Kirby
