Jerrie, normally spelled Jerry in humans, is a nickname for Jeremy, Jeremiah, Jerome, and Gerald. Jeremy and Jeremiah mean �God is high,� Jerome is a sacred name, and Gerald means �spear + rule.� Description: Mungojerrie is part of the notorious cat-burglaring duo. He and Rumpleteazer live in the same household, but we don�t know if they�re brother and sister, mates, just best friends, or all three. Personally, I think they�re just best friends (do get along with your significant other or sibling as well as they do?) Anyway, the Notorious Duo are very British (Cockney accent) and are always causing trouble. According to �Macavity: the Mystery Cat,� Mungojerrie works for Macavity, but I think he�s trying to get out of the evil business.
