The Naming of Bustopher Jones: (BUS to fur joans) I think T.S. Eliot wanted a distinguished and wealthy-sounding name and made this one up. Maybe he knew some rich Joneses. As for Bustopher, I don�t know. The ending probably comes from Christopher, and bust basically means chest. And since Bustopher�s a fat cat, perhaps part of his name refers to his large chest. Description: Everyone is very fond of Bustopher Jones, especially Mistoffelees and Jennyanydots. He�s a twenty-five pound cat from a very wealthy family. After his song, he�s offstage for the rest of the performance (probably to prevent having a heart attack.)
