Mirastik is Miska's self appointed watcher. Unlike her, he won't lift a talon for a single one of the Clan Akelara dragons unless Miska orders him too, and even then he'll be reluctant about it. He much prefers to aid Miska in her 'quest' to whip the scoundrel Jahnten from the face of the universe. In fact, he's very much eager to shed Jahnten's - and by extension, Makkeen's - blood at every opportunity.
