The Villians that wont cry Uncle
Arnuad de Thiel. The man behind Darien's pain. Arnaud's diabolical plan to add a glitch to the Quicksilver gland, so that the user would be indentured to him for  counter agent went awry. But that did not stop Arnaud. He has dedicated his time since the botched terrorist attack on the compound, where the quicksilver project was being held, to  first gaining of Dariens trust  therefore, the gland, then searching for Kevin Fawkes' missing information on the gland so as to build one of his own. During this time, he interfered in Darien's life in the hope that he knew where the notes were. After piecing together enough information about the gland to build a crude replica of Darien's, Arnaud had the new gland implanted into his own head. Because he did not have all the information on the gland, his version, instead of emmitting a substance that bent light,  reflected light, thus causing Arnuad to glow when covered in quicksilver. In order to see just how Dariens gland was wired, Arnaud gave Darien teh counter agent for stage five Quicksilver Madness in exchange for the "use" of his head under a MRI scan. This seemed like a fair trade except like any good villian, Arnaud tried to double-cross Darien, then escaped. But Arnuad did not realize until it was too late that there was more missing from his gland than just the connecting points. Last seen/unseen Arnaud was permanently invisible, like Simon Cole, and once again searching for a way to steal the Agency's files on Darien's gland.
AAllinora, the Chrysliss Agent that connects with Darien on the level that they both are biological freaks, altered to better serve their agencies. Its a love/hate relationship where they are attracted to each other but know that they are on opposite sides. After multiple confrontations, from Darien stopping Chrysliss from freezing Kate (see chick page), to Chrysliss trying to lure Darien over to their side under the pretense that the Agency was going to kill him and implant the gland into someone who worked better to the Agency's agenda. Darien and Allinora finally got their attraction out into the open when Allinora visited Dariens pad, under the orders to find out who the mole in Chrysliss was. Even that was a trick on Chrysliss's part, by having intimate contact with Darien, she implanted tiny nanobots inside him that allowed Allinora's agency to see what Darien saw, hear what he heard, thereby spying on the Agency. The only way to destroy the nanobots was to either kill Darien, or get a sample of them from someone else. During the final confrontaion, Allinora betrayed Chrysliss again to save Darien's life, and for that they took hers, thereby supplying the needed sample to kill those in Darien. But he wrestles with the question, was getting rid of the nanobots worth losing the one woman who understood his pain.
