| The saw was a French method of torture used on women who supposedly had been impregnated by the devil. The accused witch was hung upside down by her feet with her legs spread open. A saw was then taken and she was severed in two from her vagina to her head. The accused witch wouldn�t usually loose consciousness until the saw had reached her navel, some even stayed alive until the saw had reached their heart. | ||||||||||||||
