Post Confession Torture
Any person whom confessed to witchcraft probably assuming that the torture would stop and end their pain were sadly mistaken, because the tortures did not end there. The tortures did not end right up until they faced their execution. Accused persons were subjected to flogging and branding on the way to their place of execution. Occasionally their fingers, hands and tongues would be cut off and nailed to the gallows as a grisly warning to others not to become involved in witchcraft.
