Other Forms of Torture
There was absolutely no limit to the great lengths that investigators would go to in order to acquire a confession from as accused witch. Other tortures commonly performed upon the unfortunate victim include having ears and hands removed, having burning feathers dipped in sulphur and then applied to the sensitive areas of the body such as armpits and groin, having their fingers immersed into pots of boiling water or having their entire bodies immersed into boiling hot baths treated in lime.
