| The iron maiden is an upright tomb sized container that closed firmly. The inside of the folding doors exhibit an array of long thick spikes. The victim enters the container standing and the doors would be slammed shut. When the doors are shut the spikes impale the victims body. This piece of torture equipment was not designed to kill instantly, instead giving its occupant a slow painful death over several days. | ||||||||||||||
