Yes- I never thought it would happen, but here I am closing Silver Mountains Petz. Actually, I am not exactly closing it, but from now on there will be no updates- enjoy what is here because that's all that will ever be here. If new Petz versions come out, the site will not be upgraded to accommodate them. Excuses I have my reasons for no longer being a member of the Petz community. The demands of a site are too much to keep up with while I have a high school life, and in the summer I have a job to keep up with. Also, most of the members of the Petz community (not all, I understand, but most) are younger than I. In addition, Petz, and computer life in general, as I am discovering, is not all there is! I have a social life, events, games, homework(cough), projects, banquets, crushes, classes� there is so much to do! I don't know how to explain it except that I am just growing out of Petz, internet, etc., and growing into life, real, pulsing, breathing, interacting life. �Now what? I could have given this site to someone else to manage, but it seems like too much work and I would rather Silver Mountains Petz be frozen than under someone else's supervision. From now on, the only pages on the site that will be open are the non-interactive ones, the ones where you can get whatever you want without emailing me about it, so that means no more riding club, wolf pack, or non-downloadable litters. I am removing my email address from all pages. Be happy with what is left. In Closing. I have truly had a good time in my two-and-a-half years in the Petz Community. But now, life beckons, and I, the site owner, must move on. I do so with great excitement for what the future holds. This site was great fun, starting out as Silver Mountains Stables, then Silver Mountains Petz. It will still be here, remember, just not in all its former glory. I enjoyed most of it, but now it's time for me to ride off into the sunset. |
